Room was fine. Very comfy bed and bedding I slept like a baby. BUT the entire room stunk like sweat. Upon further investigation into the smell - it was coming from the shower curtain in the bathroom. It needed to be changed. Let the front desk know and no one did anything. We stayed 2 nights and dealt with the horrible smell.

There is no pool! One of my selections was to have a pool. It is broken untill the end of the year and no one told us as i took my children dressed and ready to swim is how we found out. Ice machines are broken. Waited 20 min for ice. Small tv, no microwave, no iron. Attached a picture of my upgrade i paid for. A patio with a courtyard view?

Room was really clean, staff was genuinely kind…. But the pool was closed. My kids were really excited and showed up and was told it was closed. Bummer

We stayed at this hotel for a soccer tournament. The Courtyard offered a great soace for the kids to play and the lobby was large with plenty seating iptions for the parents. The hotel also had a orivate breakfast area for our team.

I thought the "free breakfast" was confusing and they didn't have an option for a family of 3 so my mornings I had coffee and that was it. I feel like they could make that a bit better, over all good stay and nice hotel location.

Nothing was said up front at checkin or online, or posted in the room the facts that the hot tub was out of order (apparently for a year) or that the fire pit was also broken ( another disappointment right after the hot tub finding) or that there would be no day maid service. I didn’t mind the housekeeping not stopping in but I expected them too as nothing was said, anywhere. The breakfast we paid extra for was very poor. The only hot option was a sandwich you had to microwave yourself. Also, as we got our family the extra paid for breakfast we choose muffins and yogurt. I asked for a tray to put it on, no trays, I asked for a plate, no plates either. I took a bunch of napkins and cut them up and microwaved them with some butter to eat them at one of the lobby areas booths. The booth had its own tv built in yet I couldn’t get a tray or plate for my breakfast I paid extra for. Another weird thing was the door to the pool was broken, so when we left the pool we had to go outside to the courtyard and back in the hallway door. This hotel looks Ike’s nice on the outside, the photos looked great, but it’s a joke. If you’re like me and you stay at a hotel with your kids once, maybe twice a year, the vacation is really for the kids. We hit back to school shopping along with the Renaissance Festival, we spend money on them. All I want as an adult for myself at the end of these days is to sit on a hot tub with a paper cup of wine, that’s it! False advertising acts it’s best. Don’t stay

We went with our kids and grandkids for a "Before school starts" getaway. I called in advance to assure there was a restaurant and a bar at the hotel and was told there was. We like to be able to have breakfast together at the hotel before heading out for the day. When we checked in we were told there is neither. Front desk woman told us that when you call the hotel they just tell you what you wanna hear so you'll stay.
In fact we couldn't even get a Starbucks coffee as were told the bistro worker didn't show up.
looked forward to relaxing in the hot tub/ spa while kids swam. Well, big sign.
"Spa Closed"
We were also charged an additional $100 "deposit" upon check in. Told us was in case we trashed the room.
WTH?
Very disappointed. In fact we checked out a day early. Will never stay with Sonesta again.

I booked this hotel through expedia (1 double room and 2 x kings). When I arrived, the front desk let me know my reservation wasn't guaranteed and that they had moved all my rooms to kings, which made for an uncomfortable stay. The front desk had no key cards to make us room keys, and it took 10 minutes for them to find more.
There was a sports team staying in rooms near mine, and the kids ran screaming through the halls throwing ice at doors at 4am. I tried to call the front desk for help but no one would pick up. I walked over to the front desk, and there was no attendant. When I called out, the clerk came out from the back where he was clearly sleeping. He was also still the only clerk working at 8am and had to manage both the coffee counter and the front desk. I was charged for the double room while I got a king room, and the front desk refused to remedy this. I stay at over 150 hotels a year, and have never experienced such poor customer service and disorganization. Avoid at all costs.

Room worked well for family of 5. Needs some updates. Musty smell in halls. Lobby was nice. Asked front feast for extra pillows, attendant went to get a couple but none available. Online photos are deceptive.
