St. Clair Inn

The pool was closed. I pay extra for hotels with pools because they are the highlight for my kids. At a minimum, customers should be warned either before or immediately after booking about any unavailable services that they have paid for. Hotels should consider offering partial refunds for such services. I expect to receive all services I have paid for when I check in, just as the hotel expects its payment from me. There was also an issue with the thermostat. The front desk informed me that the climate control in that section of the hotel was out of order, but assured me our room would maintain a temperature of 71 degrees. However, the room temperature climbed to the upper 70s. Due to these experiences, I will not be staying here again and will continue to share my negative experience.

The St Clair Inn is a very special place - it is just so lovely in all respects. Delightful rooms, beautiful view, exceptional staff, we were treated like family. Thank you for a great weekend.

Beautiful. I could sit all day and watch the barges go by. Nice quiet ruver walk. I used to come here as a child with my parents for dinner. It is so nice seeing how beautifully rebuilt it is. They also are an exceptional location as a wedding venue.
