Port huron is my hometown. So whenever i visit if i don't stay with family i book my room at the Doubletree Hilton. The rooms are clean and have beautiful views, the pool is clean and they greet you at checkin with delicious warm cookies. I am disabled and use a walker so they have elevators and ramps for use which helps me so much. The lady at the counter was such a sweet heart (she worked 7/3/24 the night shift I forgot her name, but she was very kind). The restaurant is nice and eating outside facing the water is so relaxing. I adore Hiltons and will always support the hotels in my travels.

This was a great place to take the family for the 4th of July and see the ships and Blue Water Bridge up close! Easy drive to downtown Port Huron and to the beaches on Lake Huron, plus a cool Thomas Edison museum, as this was his boyhood home.

We booked 2 queen beds but I think we got single. We have queen beds at home and these seemed small. They were pretty tight. Room was a little small as well. Not much room for the kids to play

Really friendly staff and they check on you to make sure you are happy. Wonderful rooms with a massive TV. The pool is one of the biggest indoor pools I've ever seen at a hotel and my family loved it. Located right at the base of the bluewater bridge.

We absolutely loved this place, the location makes it very special for some like us who love the Great Lakes and watching freighters. The pool was a wonderful size and the Hot tub worked wonderfully!! We also liked the pool noodles that were available for our little ones!!!

We love staying at this hotel because it is convenient to the activities we visit for. When we checked in, with my toddler on my hip, they asked if I wanted a room facing the river or the bridge. When we returned to the room that evening, the wedding reception DJ directly below us had the walls shaking from the bass of the music until 11pm. I wish they would have warned us about this when we chose our room, knowing we had a child with us. That is our only complaint.

Unfortunately the communication about pool closure on hotel.com and at front desk was incorrect and very disappointing for our family trip. Also the elevator being out of order was definitely an inconvenience.
