Beautiful spacious rooms that even though the hotel is going through renovations doesn't detract from the quality. Pool is built for families in mind. Breakfast that surpassed many of others I've stayed at before. Very friendly and helpful staff that went above and beyond expectations. 10/10 will become my new frequent stay when I travel!

I had my family come into town from Virginia for our Foster Mom’s 95th Birthday Party. I booked them a room at the Hampton Inn and Suites in Saginaw, MI. I booked it in my name because I was paying for it with my credit card and since I was a Saginaw resident I was told by the front desk staff that my incidental deposit was $400. That is outrageous for a one night stay. Since I didn’t cancel it by the cancellation date that I can’t get my money back. I was not trying to cancel, I was not aware of the $400 deposit until I tried to check in. I didn’t have the deposit so I had to leave and find some where else for them to stay. I feel this is ripping people off. When you get there to try to checkin thinking your deposit is going to be $50 then be told you have to pay $400 is insane. Just think of how many people lost their money because of this crazy policy. This needs to be addressed before more people get ripped off. This is nothing against the actual hotel, it’s the local policy that’s a rip off.

The only thing I was a little disappointed about was that the hotel shows that it has a Jacuzzi but, does not. They has remolded the entire hotel so the rooms are brand new. The pool was cold so I didn't get to enjoy it. The lady Mary at the front desk is very nice. Before checking into the hotel. I had left a really bad hotel that had bad service and two of the hotels rooms windows busted out and boarded up. A strange man walked up to me asking for money and no one was at the front desk for 20 minutes. When I came to al I has booked a bad hotel Hampton Mary greeted me with a smile and even listened to me tell her the shocking story about the Q Inn hotel 1 min way. Really nice lady. So I really was looking forward to the réflexion of the Jacuzzi. Thank you Mary for making me and my family feel safe.

My husband and I stayed for two nights while visiting with nearby family. I was very pleased with this hotel. Check-in with easy. Good quality, fresh coffee and tea were provided in the lobby all day long. The room was well prepared, clean and attractive. Our room included a comfy couch for tv watching or reading. We were initially perplexed because we thought there was no closet (!) But -- there is a good sized closet hidden behind a large silver framed mirror that swings open like a door. The bedding was super comfortable and looked extremely clean. We were traveling with our little dog and he was welcomed. There are grassy areas for walking with bags and a trashcan for poop clean-up outside. Breakfast was meh, but adequate. At least they had 'everything' bagels (onions, salt and seeds on top.) This isn't a luxury resort -- but they do everything that they do very well.

Very nice, spotless clean, polite, friendly staff. If I had any complaints it would be there were some families with kids who were not very well managed, not the hotels fault for bad parenting. This is a very nice hotel, the breakfast in the morning was wonderful and very good . I would definitely stay again!

Even though i made reservations there were no rooms because of staffing issues..we had to wait in lobby with 2 toddlers for rooms to get cleaned and ready and we were suppose to have 2 rooms together but had to stay on different floors and they did not even attempt to compensate us for this ..sadly that is bad customer service.

We had a suite which was nice and big for my family of five. The pullout had some stains on the mattress cover which was grosse and there were some rips in the couch. Overall, we liked and were happy with the room. However, coming down from the room in the morning to get our "free" breakfast was very disappointing. Nothing was left! Some old scrambled eggs and just about nothing else. NOT EVEN COFFEE. When I said something to the staff, I was told they ran out. (Of coffee??) We are not early birds, but breakfast was certainly not over.....

The staff were really friendly and responsive. The pool is great and the reason why I return to this hotel with my kids when we're traveling. I appreciate the convenience of the laundry appliances and the 24 hour accessible gym. We will be returning!
