I absolutely loved our room. We had a first floor water view. It was wonderful. Not to many places offer a balcony or patio anymore which made it that much better. We sat out on our patio and watched a storm roll in over lake Michigan! The Breakfast was nice because they offered more than the basic. They had warm eggs, sausage, potatoes and biscuits. I didn't get in the pool but the hot tub was nice. The best part it was open 10-12am with no kids allowed at that time(all though we were the only ones down there at 10pm at night) I would defiantly be back and would recommend.

We where so pleasantly suprised about how nice this hotel was. It was so clean and welcoming. The staff was so friendly. I was so shocked that the hotel was right on the lake. The pool area was small but it was clean. The water was warm and it kept the kids occupied. Over all really enjoyed our stay and would go again and recommend to anyone going to the area.

We have stayed at this hotel a few times now. I book this hotel because it has a nice big pool and hot tub. I was pretty bummed when we showed up and the hot tub was broken. Still a nice hotel to stay at, very family friendly, and the kids had a lot of fun in the pool.

Staff was great! We had lots of kids with and they made sure they had fun. Gave them free bubbles. Was a great time!

The view says it all!! Staff is delightful and very accomodating! Room and all amenities were super clean! Breakfast is amazing every day of the week! Definately for lovers of the sunrise as balcony and lower level lakeview rooms face directly east. Highly recommend for families and dog owners as little ones and pooches are welcome. Enjoy!

The water view room is worth the extra price. The room was spacious and clean and it opened to a beautiful waterfront. The fridge was bigger than other hotels. Breakfast had a good variety. Staff was very kind and they try to help us as much as they could. I would love to go back for longer than just one night. Great place for families.

I would not recommend this hotel. It was clean-ish and had recycling bins. It also had a well stocked vending machine and close to eateries. But unfortunately they were deficient in key areas. My shower leaked all over the bathroom and the blinds didn't fully shut. Bed wasn't great as you felt every movement of the person sleeping next to you. Several guests had issues with their bookings. Not having room that they booked and put in a lower priced accomidation, while giving away the suite that was booked. I overheard staff speak very rudely to guests all throughout my stay - from the moment they checked in. Many sports teams were staying there due to a tournament. The hotel failed to have a space for these families to gather. Then treated and spoke extremely rudely to guests about having too many people and too much noise in the lobby and throughout the hotel. Any other hotel properly prepares and has a meeting/banquet room for people to rent out and puts non-sports team guests in rooms away from the main lobby and pool areas. Dissapointed in the lack of preplanning by the hotel and then putting the blame on the sports families. As someone who travels A Lot, this might be the worst experience I've seen from hotel staff and a property. I would encourage them to re-evaluate how they prepare for large groups. Be up-front about being a quiet, non-group friendly property. Otherwise you will continue to have frustrated guests.

The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas! The lobby is beautiful. The staff very friendly and accommodating. The rooms very clean and comfortable. The pool and pool area very nice - comfortable and non-slip floor was great for my grandkids! The breakfast was delicious with many options! I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay there again when I’m in the area.

This hotel has a family vibe. They have a walking trail in the back of the property with some picnic tables and a great view of the Lake Michigan . Great spot for relax time .

I purposely reserved this hotel to relax in it’s hot tub. Unfortunately, it definitely was not relaxing. Young kids were using the hot tub with boogie boards, noodles and beach balls. Little did I know that most of the people in the swim area weren’t staying there, but we’re daily members. Continental breakfast was decent.
