Landmark Inn

As always, the Landmark Inn is a favorite. It's convenient, the rooms are nice, and there's just something special about this hotel. I recommend you give it a try. We've been coming here on and off for years. We have come for work, for play, to visit family - there's always a good reason to stay here.

The Landmark takes you back to another time with beautiful antiques and decor. Our room had a fireplace and was so nice with a view of the downtown and the lake. All staff were amazingly friendly and efficient and helpful. They made us feel like family. The beds were very comfortable and clean. The carpet was damaged and worn, but that wasn’t a big deal to us. The Crows Nest on the 6th floor offers amazing views of Lake Superior and features a wide arrange of specialty drinks. It is an intimate place to sit and reflect. We had a large group so they allowed us to use the room across from the Crows Nest to seat us while we enjoyed our drinks. It also had gorgeous views of the lake. The Northland Pub downstairs is beautiful and casual with many Michigan draft beers and special cocktails and wine. The food is upscale bar food with lots to choose from. We missed Monday pizza night by a few minutes but the flatbread pizzas looked amazing. Lots of unique choices. Next time we will be on time. Lol. The hotel is steps from downtown with many unique shops, restaurants and pubs.

It has a great location. The staff I’m the evening and night was super friendly. But the lady in the front desk in the morning not much. Overall it’s a nice hotel to spend with the family.
