Staybridge Suites Grand Rapids-Kentwood, an IHG Hotel

Great breakfast buffet but that was the best thing about the stay. Pool and hot tub looked nice but bc they were outside and it was raining we didnt get to use them. We went out to the zoo and got back around 11pm and us and another car were circling the parking lot over and bc there were no parking spots. There were lots of kids running around and being loud and loud above my room early in the morning. And one kid burned hersellf on coffee at breakfast bc her parents werent paying attention. The sofa bed was not comfy and only big enough for one person. The light from the curtains was at a bad angle bc of the way the bed was situated. Even though the breakfast was good and the check in girl was very nice. I didnt like anything else we had to deal with. Ive stayed different places in grand rapids and liked other hotels better. Prob wont be going to this one again.

Staybridge Suites Grand Rapids: Spacious Suites, Stellar Gym, But One Annoying Hiccup We recently stayed at the Staybridge Suites in Grand Rapids, Michigan with our family of 6 for a debate tournament. While we were primarily out and about for the competition, the hotel provided a comfortable and convenient home base for our busy schedule. Spacious Suites: The two-bedroom suite was fantastic! It offered plenty of space for our family to spread out. We appreciated having two full bathrooms, which helped us get ready quickly in the mornings. Plus, the 1/2 kitchen was perfect for storing snacks and drinks, and came in handy for light meals after long days. The TV was a nice way to unwind in the evenings. Fantastic Gym: A big highlight of our stay was the hotel gym. It was truly the best we've ever seen in a hotel! They had a wide variety of dumbbells, a treadmill, an elliptical, and ample space for floor exercises like jumping jacks. This was a lifesaver for staying active during our busy trip. Good Breakfast & Service: The breakfast was good, with a variety of options to suit different tastes. The service staff were friendly and helpful. Trash Issue: The only real downside to our stay was that housekeeping never came to take out the trash during our entire 4-day stay. This resulted in a rather large and unpleasant trash bag accumulating in the corner of the room. Overall: A great place to stay for a trip!

My recent stay at Staybridge Suites in Kentwood, MI was disappointing. Excessive noise from the guest room above constantly disturbed us, as they ran and shook our entire room. Each step caused the metal and glass light fixture in our kitchen to rattle, creating an unpleasant environment. The noise was overwhelming, making it impossible to relax or enjoy our stay. We complained at the front desk at 10pm, but the noise persisted, disrupting our sleep. We considered changing rooms but didn't want to disturb our sleeping three-year-old. As a result, our eight-year-old struggled to fall asleep. The noise problem continued into the early morning, waking our sleep-deprived children. It turned our weekend into a stressful experience. I'm disappointed that Staybridge Suites failed to provide a peaceful environment. I hope management addresses the noise concerns for a better guest experience.

I had booked 2 suites to accommodate my grandchildren, when I got there the front desk agent said we only have one room for you and we change your suite to a 1 bed queen room, I had no choice but to take it and figure it out on my own, I had 7 grandchildren that had to wait 45 minutes while we figured it out, no one at the hotel was willing to help

Staff was a 1/10. Room was not ready at time of check in, waited an hour. Was told there was only 2 of the double suites like we booked so they couldnt shuffle us to a different room but it was taking a long time to clean. My thoughts are if you only have 2 of these, making it hard to shuffle people wouldnt you clean them first?! Also, I asked 3 times if the room was ready and each time I was told its still being cleaned. At that point I was ready to go clean it myself. I drove 12 hours and was ready for my room. The lady at the breakfast serving area was mean. Definitely not someone that needs to be around the elderly or children for sure. She snapped at an elderly and was MEAN to my child! NOT OK!!! The buidling, the amenities, FANTASTIC! Loved our stay! Would go back if you fired the whole staff and got new!

This property was very convenient to dining, shopping, and the location of our family function. The breakfast wasn’t great and the dining area employee wasn’t friendly but our biggest issue was our room was on the first floor and our curtains didn’t close

My family very much enjoyed the 2 bedroom/2 bathroom suite. The living room area and kitchenette were comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was full of options and much appreciated that items were well stocked.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Courtyard was a nice space as was the common areas. Room could have been cleaner but was spacious. Great for families with children or large groups. Living room furniture in unit needs to be updated or at least cleaned. Downfall would be the outdoor pool in inclement weather.

Stayed in a 2-bedroom suite with 1 king & 1 queen. The queen room was very small, or maybe just crowded because of the desk. The king room was decent size. We used the couch, too, for a child. She didn't like the pull-out mattress--too springy, so just slept on the couch. They did not have a portable crib available, so we had to make our toddler a little bed with just sheets & blankets in the corner on the floor. The breakfast was good. Did not use the pool. Decent stay.
