The hotel is mainly for passing through. More of a commuter hotel. It didn’t have a very warm, inviting atmosphere which is what our family is looking for. The breakfast selections were basic, especially for families.

We travel on a monthly basis all over and this bed was the BEST bed! The staff was super helpful both at checkin and check out. Since we came in late and left super early it was the same employee giving the same great customer service at the beginning of the shift as at the end, thank you. Even got my kids a to go sack lunch since our departure was too early to take advantage of the free continental breakfast

It was clean and clearly new, but there were some makor issues that made me need to put the rating down. For starters, after we checked in, we realized our TV was broken and of course my kids unpacked everything, and we had to move rooms. They must not have notified staff because not only did they keep knocking on our door starting at 7am, but they actuwlly opened the door and triee to come in! Thank goodnees we had our stopper up because i was changing! I told the front desk and there response was, "Oh oops, sorry about that". Being woken up earlier than needed during a vacation sucks.

Very poor breakfast buffet, families with children live there, children were gathering breakfast items for their lunches, a little too noisy for my liking

We enjoyed our stay at the Avid. We were traveling with young kids and the hotel met the needs of our family while in Boston. The rooms and breakfast were basic. If you're looking for a place with friends staff, easy parking, and free parking/wifi/breakfast, this is a good option.

Lots of baby flies by the window. I got up & saw them on the bed, didn’t know until I open the blinds. They were behind the blinds.

Our reservation at the Avid Hotel Boston Logan Airport - Revere was unexpectedly canceled without any prior notice. According to them, they sent an email on the same day of my reservation, which I never received. However, earlier that day, they contacted me via text message to inquire about my bed preference for the room, but they failed to mention anything about the cancellation. I'm still confused about the situation. When my family and I arrived, we were informed that there was no room available for us. I requested to speak with the manager, but the person assisting us, named Tyler, claimed to be the supervisor in charge. He was stationed at the front desk with a bottle of wine nearby. Unfortunately, he didn't offer any assistance and demonstrated poor customer service skills. He showed no sympathy or support whatsoever. We were essentially forced to leave. It was as simple as that. At nearly 9:00 pm, we were left to find another hotel in the vicinity, and as expected, we had to bear the cost of the last-minute situation. Expedia shouldn't offer hotels like this one to their customers.

Room was clean and staffs were friendly. They can improve the breakfast with hot items. Rooms are a little tight but manageable. Recommend to family.

Excellent all around service. Stayed 1 week to visit family at Christmas. Couldn’t be happier with service stayed in room 401 will definitely use again when we come back.
