Hampton Inn & Suites Ocean City West

I really enjoyed my stay at the Hampton Inn Suites, Ocean City West! It was absolutely amazing! I had such a wonderful time there with my family. I feel like this hotel is the perfect getaway spot. They offer you free breaths during your stay. The amenities are convenient as well including the fitness center and indoor pool area. The next time that I visit the Ocean City vicinity, I will definitely be staying at this hotel. It’s only less than a 5 minute drive to the beach. You’re right across the street from the Outlet and plenty of dining options as well. Parking at the hotel is free too!

Hampton Inns are usually pretty decent properties for families. This one is no exception. The rooms were clean. The property in general was clean. The breakfast was very basic—the typical Hampton Inn imitation eggs, some kind of sausage patty and waffles. It’s not terrible but I’ve definitely had better. I didn’t like that the pool was closed.

Easy check in, breakfast was good and family friendly. Convenient to restaurants and outlets including a late night ice cream shop next door.

The rooms are very clean and comfortables perfect space for big families. Pool facility organized! Staff are also very friendly.

My family was evicted from our one-night stay at this hotel. We checked in on Saturday at 6:30 pm after a 2.5-hour drive. Upon arrival, I asked for a late checkout since my daughter's competition would not begin until 1:30 pm the next day. I was told that I could get a 12 pm checkout time. Well, that is not what happened. Promptly at 11 am the housekeeping staff came ready to clean the room. After we told them we had a late check out we then received a call from the front desk stating there was not a late check to request listed. We were told that we had 10 minutes to vacate the room. This was horrible. What happened to empathy or even believing the customer? I have never been kicked out of a hotel before. This was humiliating.

Was a wonderful stay, however, next time we need to be on the top floor. The people above us kept us up all hours. They must have had kids running track back and forth. The staff was excellant.

Well first let me say, I’m part of a traveling blog/pod cast and we have just under a million follower’s, however I haven’t shared my experience yet. I am still confused! So check in was great, staff seemed pleasant, hotel seemed clean and updated. After giving our room keys we walked to our room where I quickly realized this was not the room I requested. So a little back story. I decided to take my mom, sister and 2 kids on a short getaway for my mother’s birthday. The room had a king size bed and a sofa (pull out bed). Clearly not enough room for my family. I quickly call the front desk they put us on hold, we decide to go back down to talk to them in person. The manager is called over to try and fix the issue. He does some typing and apologizing and tells up he is unable to move us for tonight. He offers us a pull out bed and 50$ off. He also started we would get the room we paid for tomorrow. I’m now feeling uncomfortable but I travel a lot so I am attempting to be understanding. Day 2, we leave the hotel to go to the beach around 10:45. Before leaving I call the front desk and let the same young man that checked us in know of our plans for the day. He tells me the manager is not in yet and we will have to wait to change rooms. I say okay, can you let him know I called and to please keep our room. Fast forward to about 3/4pm . Hotel manager tells me he has been calling, ( I have no missed call).
