It's always a good time when my family stays at The Gateway. We've been staying here for the past four years and will keep on staying here in the future. Adrian at the front is always such a great help & everyone else. Always a pleasant experience.

The door latch was broken, the smoke detector was hanging out of the wall, the door hardware itself was hanging out of the wall and broken. Unacceptable to rent to a young mother and father with a toddler and newborn!!

We loved staying at Gateway. We had a connecting room with balconies with my daughter and family. The staff was friendly and informative. The rooms were clean. We were less than a block from the boardwalk. There was so much to do in that area and plenty of restaurants. We would definitely come back again.

Very first thing you notice when you walk in is how good it smells! Then how open and clean it appears. Free 24-hour coffee, lobby area is nice with a sitting area, pool with pool towels, lemon water at desk, friendly staff. We loved the balconies, the pool and the sitting area in the front. Can’t wait to take my grandkids in August! Zero complaints!

The hotel was clean, in a great location for the beach/boardwalk, Lazy Lizard is across the street too for bayside dining. The beds were comfortable and fit a family of 2 adults and 2 kids perfectly. The room fridge is smaller than normal hotel size with no freezer. The pool is small but if you just use it to rinse off after the beach it’s fine. The parking spaces are tight to back out of though. The staff was accommodating when we asked for an hour later checkout time, let us leave our car parked to stay at the beach longer the day we checked out also. I would definitely stay here again.
