The food at the restaurant was really good and every staff interaction was positive. Great hotel for family stays

Great hotel. Lots to do in the area. Jacob at the front desk when we checked in was friendly and professional. Hotel room was spacious and clean. I have two small toddlers and they enjoyed themselves.

We go here every year. Family friendly hotel however has a luxury feel to still make it feel like an adult getaway. I have also been coming here since I was a child, which it has changed hands since but still so convenient nearby to things and walking distance.

We stayed for 3 nights with 2 small children. Overall the hotel was great and we had a wonderful experience. Since this is a review where people like to know details I will list some things I was not crazy about. As soon as I walked into our room I nearly slipped as the floor in kitchenette area had some sort of slimy film on it as if it had been cleaned with furniture polish. For some strange reason we had a ton of fruit flies in the bathroom. They were just hanging out and flying around the bathroom. Very strange that they would only be in the bathroom. We had a pullout couch and the cushions had some white crusty stuff on it. Since we used the couch for sleeping I simply moved the cushions into the corner. I did not report any of the things I listed as I didn’t feel it was necessary. Again the things I mentioned to me were minor but to give an honest and helpful review I wanted to list them here. I would absolutely stay there again. The proximity to the beach can’t be beat. There are a ton of great restaurants within walking distance as well as Jolly Rogers amusement park. Driving to the get to the boardwalk is also very convenient. Last yr we stayed right by the boardwalk but this time we wanted a quieter experience.

The staff was great and very attentive to anything we needed. Came for a family getaway and was a great location. A little bit of a walk to the boardwalk but it is very doable. On site restaurant had very good food and great happy hour specials every day. Having 3 pools was nice so that none of them was too crowded and was able to always get a lounge chair at each. Was nice having the sandy beach area seating outside so that the family could gather at night and play games and not have to be in the room. Had a firepit with lots of seating at night. The pool side bar had live music on Saturday when we arrived. Easy walk out the front to the beach. The beach was clean and not a lot of shells so there was no need to wear water shoes. There are rentals right on the beach for beach chairs and umbrellas. Parking garage on site with easy access into the hotel. I would stay here again.

My family had a nice time at the hotel. The location was very convenient to the beach and restaurants. The staff was very nice and professional. The pool hours were until 11pm, which was AWESOME!!! Take advantage of their breakfast meal at the Marlin Moon it was worth it. We also had great service from Richard our waiter.

Place was clean I was happy but There were no pool towels at 9 am when asked if we could get someone to bring some they said they’d let house keeping no, hour later still no towels my family had to walk back to the room dripping wet/cold. I also know it’s the off season but I wish someone would go and pick up the garbage that had gotten trapped by the fence/dunes not a great look for such a pretty view.

The staff was very helpful and engaging. Our Junior suite was one of the best rooms in the hotel as we had spectacular balconies and lots of extra space. The pool and whirlpool were a treat as was the Marlin Moon Restaurant where we had a great breakfast on our way out. We were 7 total and it turned out to be a great family getaway.
