The Fairfield Inn is the perfect hotel in Ocean City, MD. The location is perfect to hit the beach daily and cruise the boardwalk . The hotel itself is beautiful, from the entry chandeliers to the smell of the lobby that leaves a lasting impression. Lastly, the staff are AMAZING. Martin, the GM, was as personable and welcoming as they come. He stopped to talk to every guest in the dining area on one of the mornings to see how our stay was and how our overall experience was at the establishment. Very appreciated and a nice gesture. In addition to Martin, Trish and Jordan , front desk staff, were also exceptionally professional and welcoming. I don’t remember every staff members name but I can say they were all very friendly and welcoming. This was our 3rd time staying at the Fairfield Inn and it has become our families only OC, MD hotel of choice. Highly Recommend and 5 Stars.

Very nice and clean hotel. Two blocks away from the beach/boardwalk. The pool is small but was just enough for my son who is 11years old. Everything was fine i have no complaints except for one. I had to pay for parking my car at the hotel. Im 40 years old and been staying in hotels all over the U.S and this was my first encounter having to have to pay for parking my car outdoor in an open parking lot at the actual hotel me and my family were staying in. Paying the parking did not hurt my pockets, If I remember correctly it was $10 a day and i my stay was for four days. But I personally do believe you should not be charged to park at a hotel you are currently staying over night in. To me it just doesn’t make any sense. Other than that I have no complaints. Hotel was nice and clean , staff was nice and cool, breakfast was good. Pool was clean. Will possibly stay here again. Just hope they change the policy of charging customers to park in a hotel you already paying to stay at in the first place.

Nice stay but the sofa bed (king suite ) are worn out the offer is to love to a double queen saying that those sofa bed mattress will have to be changed due to over use.
But overall excellent service, clean hotel.
The morning breakfast was ok, just adding toasts would be a game changer, but kids loves the waffle oven.

Clean hotel. Staff was friendly. My husband and I stayed in a king suite, it was comfortable, and the bathroom was a good size and clean. The breakfast was fine, nothing great. You had choice of egg, egg sandwich, make your own waffles, oatmeal, cold cereal and fruit. I'm used to a potato option in a hotel, so that was disappointing for me. They must not be treating their staff fairly because I did overhear some complaining. The indoor pool was tiny. Smaller than any pool I've seen. We just went and looked at it. It was being used by 1 family with small kids and that's all that would fit. Decent parking and only $10/night. Quick walk to the beach. Overall, decent enough for a short stay.

Room was clean, staff was friendly, in-room appliances all worked well, and the continental breakfast was good! Minus points for condition/comfort only due to noises at night - our bed frame made a groaning sound like a ship with any movement, and the adjoining door with the room next to us didn't do much for blocking crying baby moments throughout the night.

Stay was decent, we stay here often. This time was not so pleasing. The main irritation was a fire alarm in the middle of the night… we understand it happens. But upon re entering the hotel… when we asked what happened the response from the attendant was “ I don’t know what happened” then to drag a infant child back inside of the building and put to sleep just to have the alarm go off several times later and then to be silenced. The storage room begin with loud open and closes starting at 7am. Our stays here are for relaxation. This was far from relaxing and far From pleasant. When asked about a refund or compensation. We were told from the front desk man that. He wasn’t sure of what happened and there was nothing he could do to assist us and acted as if We were hallucinating.
