In addition to this being a great location for our visit to Cape Elizabeth, and Fort Williams, the hotel was VERY pet friendly.
The staff immediately welcomed our 2 dogs along with our family members when we arrived. Families with pets really understand how important that is when traveling.
Bed was comfortable, rooms were clean, breakfast was good, staff was on top of everything. Great find !

Very budget friendly compared to downtown Portland. No frills amenities, but the room was clean. Easy drive into Portland or to the surrounding state parks. Great for families on a budget or traveling with pets.

The staff is incredibly rude. The paint was peeling from the walls. The AC was clearly repurposed and didn’t work, was sweating all night. Got down to breakfast at 845 (they close at 930) completely out of coffee, out of waffle batter, bagels were rock hard, tables were dirty. The front desk said there was nothing they could do. Only one highchair and multiple children around with nowhere to sit. Could hear conversations next door and people walking upstairs. Poorly made, poorly ran.

10/10 for value. For this price point, this is a great place. Very nice, open lobby. Rooms are pretty spacious, clean and updated. Hotel staff very nice and helpful. Keep in mind, it's not the Ritz, but if you're looking for a place to get a good nights sleep during your travels, can't beat this one at this price point. Hotel was full of travelers like us, families and older couples. No loud partying or pot smells like other places at this budget level. A couple of points - the bathroom was kind of sparse (two towels only, no hooks to hang anything, and no shelves in the shower to put your toiletries), and the breakfast was very limited. But again, at this price point, I would gladly stay again.

The continental breakfast was lovely. The staff was kind and friendly. The room was pretty clean but the floor was dirty. The room was big enough for us to put a pack n play for our baby. Unfortunately, the beds were super uncomfortable. But overall, our stay was lovely.

Very nice hotel, clean and minimalist. Love the flora without the carpet. Not sure if for people with young children, the rooms are tight somewhat and no tub. You can also hear the noise from the hall easily. Other than that, nice hotel.

This hotel is super charming. The beds are thick and comfy, the breakfast is real and warm, and there is some really homey decor in the lobby. We have a son at the university in Gorham, and this will be our go to hotel for family visits from now on.
