We had over 44 members of the Lawrence family converge on both your hotel and the city of New Orleans. We have family that have ada needs which were met, and the location was perfect for French Quarter, City Park by trolley, the Aquarium and the seaport for Carnival cruises. Your 14th floor and lobby were great meeting areas for the family. Your service was outstanding, and the people in the South are some of the nicest and inviting people I have met.

Booked this hotel specifically for a crib for the baby. Got there and was told no cribs were available and that staff would be trying to locate one. Inquired on the crib a couple more times before night time and never got a straight answer and ended up having a terrible night of sleep with no crib for my baby. Was told on check out I would be getting a call from manager the same day about the crib situation and that never happened. Ice machine broken…. Showers were dirty… bathroom door didn't lock. Location was full of homeless people that made me uneasy of parking my car. Set up of the room and decor was nice. Most of the staff was nice but some were rude. Overall it was okay, just mainly wish the crib would've been available or that some time of compensation was given for the inconvenience.

Staff was excellent. Hotel was very comfortable and nice for price. Breakfast options were great. Terrace offered nice view.
Cons: Location. While on Canal, it’s right near interstate but not near exit so many homeless around. Also little bit of a challenge to pull up to the property. Once inside it was better, but issues with no bathroom door not shutting and no trash bags in room or bathroom. Sofa bed also incredibly noisy. Seems like small issues but with family of five it was a noticeable issue.

We stayed one night while passing though NO. Had a lot of fun. The street is busy, to be expected. We had 5 people in a family suite. We all had plenty of room. All staff I interacted with were very nice. We enjoyed the rooftop lookout and bar. My kids loved the gym after being cooped up in the car for 9 hours. Would love to come back kid free 😈

Today was the worst. I arrived at Springhill suites on June 20th and was advised by the hotel valet not to park my car at the hotel. The valet stated that the parking is uncovered and he does have any physical security. However, it is not advisable to park my vehicle due to stolen vehicle, break-ins and other mishaps. The valet recommended another parking lot in which his friend was located. He contacted the friend at the other parking lot, which was 2 miles away from the hotel for an additional $100 per night. Instead of following his advice that seemed skewed. What the valet attendent didn't know was that I was a New Orleans native and had family in the city where I could park safely. I strongly encourage anyone that choose to book at this hotel to use Uber, Lyft or another ride share. Do not drive a personal vehicle. It was an extremely uncomfortable experience.

Latanya checked myself and my family of 5 in at 9:30am, 6.5 hours early. She really went above and beyond our expectations as we showed up to store our luggage until check in, and were not expecting THAT early of a check in. It was sooooo appreciated.

Hello, I am Victor Lozano. My family and I stayed as guests at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott New Orleans Downtown/Canal Street hotel, and this company Parking Management Services is their valet company.
We drove a rental Grand Cherokee that was pretty much brand new.
In their care, the right window on our rented Grand Cherokee was broken by the reckless care of their staff valet parking on duty Mr Kedrick, who happens to be the valet manager and he offered to pay for the window for us. But He didn't when I asked for it.
The staff insinuated that maybe a homeless had broken the window that had been in their care for almost the entire trip and was in pristine condition each time we gave it to them to park.
I received the run around from this company and its staff as well as the hotel.

The room was dirty when we showed up. The shower was stuck on hot, one of my children burned herself. Breakfast was so little they started serving frozen potatoes. I will never use this chain again.
