There was only one working elevator and half the time that didn’t work. We were told by the front desk that you just have to keep hitting the button and eventually it will light up and come to the floor you were on. This morning when we were leaving to check out we were stuck on our floor. Floor 3. Pressing the button multiple times and the elevator never came. So we took the stairs with all our luggage and signs everywhere saying do not enter because of wet paint. We had no choice but to enter since there was no working elevator. We walked all three flights of stairs with children and luggage overflowing from our arms because we were already packed up and left the keys in the room. Making it inconvenient to even go back in. This also made us late to the tumbling competition in town that we were in Louisville for. Very frustrating. We also never had the cleaning crew in our room to grab trash. We had to set it outside the door hoping they would come grab it.

Stayed there during renovation of the first floor and during an apparent basketball tournament in town. Recipe for disaster - lots of high school aged kids running around the floors and being loud at night. Hard to control no matter where, but I would t stay there again if I knew that was going on. Has the ability to be a nice hotel, but it was just an okay stay overall.

We checked into the hotel and were given our room key. Went to the room only to discover that our room was not a king size room that we booked and paid for in advance. I called down to the front deck and spoke to a very nice man who passed me to his supervisor. She advised me that the hotel was sold out and that nothing could be done about their mistake. TV was not working I called down again she again told me that there was nothing she could do and I had to suggest that perhaps someone come and take a look. The same lady was so rude to some kids that wanted to buy some snacks. She told them to "Hurry Up". There was no line of people and there was no need to be rude especially to a group of kids that we using manners when making their requests to purchase.

Room was very: clean, comfortable, fresh smelling non-smoking, clean linen-comforter, cool quiet A/C, 2 floor length mirrors, good lighting, large desk with office-sized chair. Spacious, accessible bathroom w/nitelight, plenty of large cotton towels, and basic needs plus things forgotten provided graciously at front desk. All staff extremely courteous, accommodating and patiently helpful, e.g., when accidentally locked out of room, promptly issued replacement. Provided easy-to-follow driving directions, list of close-by restaurants, and visitor attractions. Swimming pool right outside 1st floor room window, open til 10pm with a lot of children. Nevertheless room was quiet and pool clean and adult friendly. BREAKFAST, open until 10am, was the bomb! Hot scrambled eggs, sausage, diy waffles with variety of toppings, sweet rolls, buns, choice of bread to diy toast, self-serve juices, fruits, yogurt, cereal w/skim or 2% milk, plus EXCELLENT coffees and creamers. Saw well equipped large exercise area (but did not use the equipment), saw people using the segregated computer equipped business area, but didn't need the facilities. Convent quick airport shuttle with helpful chauffeur.
I absolutely loved my 2-night stay and wished it had been longer as Hampton Louisville Airport is a resort vacation!
