Hilton Lexington/Downtown

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel for the third time traveling with my family and our small Child. The heated Pool is the absolute best. Only Time I’ll get in a pool in December. We stay here to let my kiddo burn off energy after traveling during the holidays. The workout area is rather large as well and there is a working peloton bike in the gym. Garage parking is easy for in and our and secured items while traveling. Hotel runs a bit warm, we tried to knock the air down without much success. A bit older rooms but very nice to downtown area with ships, eating and even holiday ice skating rink right outside the hotel. Also convenient to the arena. During the holiday season we got to enjoy the grinch playing in the lobby and a hot chocolate bar. Very nice.

I prepaid for breakfest and they are only giving me breakfest for 2 adults and are making me pay for my kids. What did i pay for as a single dad witb 3 kids??

The room was clean and comfortable. However, the other parts of the hotel were questionable. The elevator situation was awful. At one point we waiting almost 10 minutes for an open elevator. We would have used the stairs but we were on the 10th floor with 3 kids and lots of luggage so we really needed the elevator. Also, the parking garage is very confusing. The signage isn't clear and we wandered through 3 levels before we figured out where to enter the hotel and then had to go down another level to check in. We asked about a restaurant and told it was closed but we could eat in hotel restaurant. We were trying to get to a show at 7. We entered restaurant at 6 and ordered by 6:10. Our food did not arrive until 6:40 and that was only after we said if it wasn't there in 5 minutes we would have to leave. The pool area is TINY and the hot tub was not working and was cold. Just a lot of stuff not working properly and made our stay less enjoyable.
