I went with my family of 6 and we all loved it. Large, spacious suite, at an very low price. Very good, clean look.

The front desk Agent Jade was awesome. And the General Manager Maria as well as the cook Sherita. Even though the property was being renovated they made us feel comfortable. I loved the room very spacious and had all the amenities needed. My family and I enjoyed the stay and would definitely stay again when visiting Topeka.

One thing I always look for is a pool for my kids. The pool as not open and apparently being renovated. The reservation should let you know before you book. Its overall not what I would expect from the name Hyatt. Very disappointed. Even the breakfast was below average.

We stayed 5 nights for a family reunion. The first night we had NO HOT WATER! It was out for about 14 hours for the entire hotel! Once it was fixed, the showers were fine. Housekeeping was sporadic and often did not replenish our coffee supply. The front desk person was sometimes hard to find as they were around the corner watching TV. The hotel is under renovation, but that does not excuse the poor service. Breakfast was nothing to write home about. Scrambled eggs should not have the texture of course sand.

I was a bit disappointed with how old and outdated the property was. It seems like it was an older place where they just slapped random modifications and upgrades here and there. I also think it’s terrible that they charge you a pet fee. I’ve never understood that you have to pay more for dogs, but children are just as capable of having accidents and there’s not a fee for having kids at a hotel.

We were disappointed in our stay. The hotel was hard to get to. The directions stopped us in the middle of a roundabout. The kid that checked us in was friendly but the room was not the cleanest. There were stains on floor and couch and the shower was stained and old. The bathroom was absolutely tiny and I felt like I had to either jump on top of toilet or into the tiny shower to just open the door. The bed was nice and fluffy. And I loved the fact that the ac did not turn on and off all night long. The Tv remote would not work so we couldn’t get the tv to work. The breakfast was a complete joke though! A few “fake” scrambled eggs and pork bacon, white bread with one broken toaster, no juice, a few packets of instant oatmeal otherwise nothing. We will not stay there again.
