Hampton Inn & Suites Wichita/Airport

Everything was great! Check in was easy, the room was clean and set up perfect for sharung with an adult child! We absolutely loved the shuttle service!!

When we arrived at hotel before 12 am. We found that our room had been cancelled. At first we were told we’d have to go to another hotel. The hotel was full. We stood in hall for 1 1/2 hours. Not a good experience We had to check out early to make it to another family gathering.

Not a bad place, but it fell short in a couple of important ways, for a hotel in this range. First I arrived with children, assuming there would be SOME food in the little store. They only had beer & wine, candy, and flaming hot snacks, nothing I wanted the kids to eat (or me to eat, for that matter). No food or anything else within walking distance, either. Then the room amenities were substandard: eg., just a couple of paper cups for coffee, no cups in the bathroom. The breakfast was just okay, with sausage and eggs but neither cooked well. On an up note, the pool was open and well maintained.

Clean and newer. My kids loved the pool being open till midnight.

Very nice room very near the airport. A surprising lack of airport noise. Shuttle service was great. Breakfast buffet was pretty standard fare and okay. The one odd thing I noticed - There was no hanging closet for clothes and storage space for clothing and such was a bit sparse. For a quick "in and out" trip like mine (which I'm sure most of them are at airport-side hotels,) this wasn't a problem but I'm wondering if it could be for longer stays or whole families in a room. Great hotel. Great price. Great service.

The guy at the desk when my wife and I checked in was friendly, informative and very helpful. When I told him we'd be checking out early the next morning to return our rental car and catch an early flight, he suggested that we could drop the rental car off right now, and their shuttle would pick us up, take us wherever we needed to go for the rest of the evening, and get us to the airport in the morning so we wouldn't have to worry about returning the car in the morning. We took him up on that offer, and both shuttle drivers we used (bringing us back from rental car return, and taking us to the airport the next morning) were kind and helpful as well. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The only issue we encountered was some noisy kids running up and down the hall, and that was resolved quickly when we phoned the front desk. We had an excellent experience at the Hampton Inn & Suites Wichita Airport.
