We couldn't get WIFI the night we checked in and the front desk person was unable to help us.. it was working the next morning... but we rely on WIFI to connect with family while travelling so it was an inconvenience

It is always a little nerve racking to book a hotel room in a town you’ve never been. I hit the jackpot! The price, the staff, the room, the breakfast was amazing. I was in town for my brother’s Air Force retirement ceremony along with other friends and family, my daughter booked a room in a adjacent hotel, but cancelled it and came to my hotel. As a prior yacht chief stew, to say her expectations are high is correct. She had the same experience as I did. My only complaint is that now that my brother is no longer stationed in Wichita, i don't have a reason to return, if i did i would definitely stay here again.

We visit Wichita often because we have family there. We’ve stayed at several hotels in the area and this one is very nice, clean and close to the area we like. However, we have found the increases in prices throughout the area to be high. Wichita certainly isn’t a “destination” area for vacation, so the high prices are ridiculous.

Perfect stay for my family on our road trip. Hot breakfast. Great service - friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Pet fee was reasonable. Quiet room. Comfy beds. What you’d expect from a County Inn and Suites… and even more!

This had to be one of the worst rooms I’ve ever had to stay in. When we arrived in our room the ac was set to 60 degrees the room was freezing. Keep in mind it was 94 degrees outside but it was freezing in the room. Then we went to open the blinds where the ac unit is on the wall only to find the ac unit top covered in what I recognized to dead termites and termite droppings yes termite poop. The reason we picked this hotel was so my children could swim in the pool which looks amazing on the website only to find after the termite mess that the pool was covered and closed. Disappointed wife and now two disappointed kids keep in mind it is 94 degrees outside. Walk into the bathroom now where the first thing I see is 2 dirty paw marks streaking down the wall about a foot and half long and these are not from a little dog very hard to miss if your properly maintaining your hotel rooms. Pool closed termite messes and carcasses dog prints on the walls. Towels and the bedding had black spots and streaks on them. My wife is fed up in 5 minutes and we decide we are going to get a refund and find a different hotel. The lady at the check in desk informs my wife that this hotel has a strict refund policy and she would be unable to refund our money or lower the price and tells us the pool is only open seasonally, keep in mind it is mid May and its 94 degrees outside. She tells us she will send house keeping up to deal with the bugs. Housekeeping comes up and says I guess I’m supposed dust

First, we got there after a drive from Omaha, 15 minutes before the 3pm check in time and front desk wouldn't talk to us until 3pm. Several families were just sitting in lobby waiting for 3pm to arrive. When it did, there now was a line to sign in, which took longer. Found out our room was already prior to that but we just had to sit. Light on stand didn't work, refrigerator didn't work. TV didn't work. Clock was an hour wrong and we couldn't set it. Sink drain was clogged. Hallways were very narrow and hard to bring our luggage up on the trolley. Only a couple of towels provided. On the good side, the room was clean and the A/C did work well and breakfast was good.

[...]. When making my reservation there was nothing about this hotel being under construction, water damage on the room walls, having NO elevator, furniture from the '80's, and absentee staff. If you call having the doors locked and snoring coming through the night window that was still not answered after 4 bell rings, absentee staff. The only reason I am giving them one star is because the coffee was hot and milk was cold. [...] If you have children, this is not a hotel for you. [...]
