La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Dodge City

The front desk staff was incredibly rude 3/4 days we stayed. I asked everyday for a pack and play for our 5 month old (website says they’re available and I even called to make sure they were) and was told everyday “sorry, I just have it out. We only have 1.” That was extremely frustrating. Then every time we came back to the hotel our key didn’t work! It was so frustrating traveling with 2 small children not being able to get into our room right away. We would’ve been able to know it wasn’t working before we got to our room if the door downstairs that’s “locked for security” was actually locked!! The air conditioner was also very loud and was leaking. Very disappointed in our stay here.

Rooms were nice but super loud I booked 2 nights the first night i couldn't sleep kids we're running back and fourth the hall and yelling let the clerk know and if i could switch rooms said no didn't give an attemp and the 2ND Night the same thing people next door were super louder and i belive the upstairs clerk didn't do nothing about it

The check in was fine, the girls were friendly enough and helpful. But the gentleman at checkout lacked something. We asked him where you could get a sit down family breakfast. He pointed to the dinning room. We explained that, that was not what we were looking for. He rolled his eyes and exclaimed, "what's better than free". We just got on google to find breakfast.

We were initially checked into an occupied room, the man occupying it was rightfully pissed and threatened us. Then we were checked in to a room that would only accomodate 3 or our 4 (2 adults 2 kids), then we were checked into a 3rd room with no security lock, pee stains in the bathroom. When we spoke to the GM she said our first nigbt of a 2 night stay would be comped however they failed to do so and refused to answer the phones when we tried to get them to fix it. We have filed a formal complaint.

Quiet, inviting, clean, safe, courteous & attentive staff at a cost that is not breaking budget. This hotel has everything needed for a good nights rest & things to do that occupy excited children. Indoor pool & spa. The pet walking area is lighted for safety & bags to dispose of the waste. Morning breakfast was hot and offered varieties for everyone. We enjoyed ourselves and will return. Recommend highly.
