Best Western Plus Patterson Park Inn

The location for us was great having family in both Winfield and Ponca City OK. The area is familiar as we were raised in the Winfield area. We had stayed there in the past and had been happy with our stay. The breakfasts were great, the pool was easily accessable and not overcrowded. Friends were staying there that were also attending the same reunion we were attending. On the negative side, we first were given the key to a room that belonged to someone else so we walked in on a gentleman that was just as surprised as we were. The next room we were given was right outside of the elevator with the noise from people coming and going until 2:00am and that combined with the people above us (construction workers) were partying most of the night. I requested another room but was told none were available. My sister who was staying with me suffers from PTSD from the war and the noises all night triggered her into an several episodes throughout the night. I requested a different room the next day but was told again that there were none available so we spent another night not resting so I made a third request for a different room and was finally given a room that was quiet and we were able to rest the rest of our stay. The staff were not as friendly as they had been in our previous times spent there. I think they thought I was a being a 'Karen" and I was a big pain in the butt because I kept asking for a different room.

Everything was great. Front desk tried their best to find a room for my other family who did not have a reservation. In the end they couldn’t work it out but I appreciate their effort. I didn’t catch his name, but the young man that worked the continental breakfast on September 30th to October 2 was amazing! He went above and beyond to make our breakfasts great. He smiled a lot and I could tell he was a hard worker. He needs a raise!

Great hotel with heated pool and free fresh cookies in the lobby every day. Good breakfast with eggs and meat every morning as well as muffins and breads. Very family friendly, would recommend to anyone staying in Ark City.

Having our main bathroom remodeled so we decided to stay close to home and have a night out. Showers, kids to swim, etc. Very nice staff, great room, very comfortable!
