This hotel chain is nice and we choose to stay there often as we have a family of 5 with three teenage kids. This specific location in Indy has really really thin walls and it felt like we were sharing a hotel room with the people next door. ALL NIGHT LONG. Nobody could sleep with the neighbors up all night. Poor sleep dominated the stay. We will probably veer away from Springhill Suites from now on

We were able to check in an hour early but when we got there there was a huge line to check in and only one person at the desk. They did finally send another person out but it took awhile to get checked in. The room had a weird smell, we didn’t say anything though. The bed is a little firm and the AC didn’t really cool the room the best. I was also disappointed that the fan wasn’t very loud. We always leave the fan on to help block out the hall noise. We got very little sleep thanks to the room across the hall from us had a bunch of what appeared to be teenagers in it and there was another room down the hall with young kids as well and they kept running back and forth between rooms letting doors slam and being really loud. They give you a paper that says it’s quiet time from 10-7 but they obviously do not enforce it! I don’t see how a room can be full of teenagers either it should be required for a parent to be in the room to keep this from happening. We were not happy because we had to be up early and this was ongoing from around 10p to well after midnight or later, very frustrating!

I booked couple of rooms for a family stay. We were visiting Childrens Museum and Indianapolis Zoo. The hotel is very close to the Indianapolis zoo made it a good choice. Hotel was very good, clean and friendly staff. The pick up / drop off space is combined with courtyard Mariott, hence there could be a queue if it is a busy time. We do not have any complaints except the parking charge. I booked one room including the parking (paid the parking fees during my booking in hotels.com) and another room without parking included since we traveled in one car. However after checking out, I noticed that we got charged on my credit card for parking for both the rooms. I paid $70 due to this which should not have been charged considering I already paid along with booking. If you book this hotel be careful and tell the hotel management upfront if you have paid for the parking already.

Arrived around 10:30pm Friday, only to be told we didn’t have a room. My reservations were confirmed through Expedia on Thursday. I was told it wasn’t entirely Expedia’s fault, so this made me feel our room was given away. They only had a room with a King and a sofa bed. (I booked 2 queen beds and a sofa bed). With several events happening last weekend I had no other option but to cram myself and my 3 teenagers in this room. We were provided with a rollaway bed, but we had no walking room and were walking over beds all weekend. It took over an hour to get the rollaway bed. When I was finally able to settle into bed I found the fitted sheet had a stain on it. As much as I paid for the room, I don’t feeI should be sleeping on stained bedding. I asked the front desk for a new sheet for my bed, but when I put it on it didn’t even fit. I just threw a flat sheet over the mattress and went to sleep. The last night the kids were trying to use Netflix but the tv wasn’t connected to wifi; we tried several times to call front desk but no one ever answered.
The only accommodation for the room trouble was free parking, but with most parking areas full I had to park in a different parking garage (they’re all connected it was all very confusing if you’re not familiar with the area). I did not receive free parking.
Experience was 50/50. Hotel was quiet. Bed was very comfortable, best nights sleep I have had in a while. No one checked my ID at check-in. Rooms aren’t spacious.

It was disappointing stay this time with Marriott, mostly I prefer stay with Marriott on most of my stays out of town, but the night we got in the room bed sheet was nasty like someone vomited on it and just wipe with napkin and the room was smelling so I have to spray the room with my perfume and take that dirty bed sheet off and slept without bed sheet, because it was too dark to call janitorial kids and we all were tired after travel to hotel and next day when we left the hotel for city tour I told them receptionist that room need to be cleaned, but when we came back ,I couldn’t believe that it was same way the way we left the room nothing changed and cleaned and nothing touched,we just managed somehow and on top of that when we slept about midnight people fighting on our floor in the hallway loud loud kids wake up and we all wake up it was about 1 hr when they controled itand kids didn’t go back to sleep .it was terrible for real

The suite-style room was perfect for our family of 5. The extra bit of room helped us not feel so cramped while we were at the hotel. The location was perfect! Right by the State Museum, pavilion, park, zoo and canal! Plus free breakfast for the bunch.

For some reason I thought this property had a pool - so I disappointed my grandbabies.
I also did not like the room we had the tv was way over to the side so you could not really watch tv if you had the bed close to the window.
