Hampton Inn & Suites Bolingbrook

Our room had no water pressure and could not be fixed. My family and I arrive late had to wait until next day to get a different room . Staff was apologetic and helpful. Nevertheless disappointed for a well respected hotel

The hotel smelled soooo good and was super clean.Pool area was also kid friendly. I’ll be going back soon.

The only thing I don't like about booking on a third party site is that they won't allow you to make any room changes even though they're available. I booked 3 rooms for a family event for overnight and i asked to change one of my double bed rooms to a king size so that my son and his new wife could have a king and they couldn't because it was "booked on a third party site"

The pool was shut down for maintenance but no prior indication was made to me until I was completely checked in and started walking away. She did offer us the availability of the pool at the hotel next door but I wasn’t taking my kids out in the cold with wet heads after swimming. I am still upset.

The hotel was clean and the check in staff very friendly. Our room was a king size and it was spacious and clean. The bathroom was spacious and clean as well. The breakfast was fine, would love to have more options in yogurt and not just strawberry-banana. The only downsize was internet was not working. We stayed Friday thru Sunday and they couldn’t get it fixed. We were fine as we were there to visit family- not work. They were very apologetic.

I enjoyed the free breakfast in the morning. That saved my family money and allowed us more time to enjoy our trip without having to figure out where to eat.

I specifically reserved a room with two queen beds and a pull out couch. My kids and I came to check in around 9:00 and we were all tired. I told the lady at the desk which room i reserved and she gave me keys for a room with two double beds. I came back down and told her she'd given me the wrong key. She told me it was because "third-party booking always gets screwed up". I showed her my confirmation email. She said she had to "check something" and disappeared for about ten minutes. Came back and said the room was not available. I told her it was reserved so, how was it unavailable. She got the manager to come from another location. He went somewhere for about ten minutes and then came back and told us the room was ready for us. By this time we were all completely exhausted and collapsed into bed. Why were we sent to the wrong room, told our reservation was not available, and made to wait for over 40 minutes to get into the room I paid for? No explanation was ever given.

The location was very convenient. The room was clean and the layout was great for spending time with family. The mattress was firmer than I prefer but not a deal breaker.
