Our family of four stayed here in a king room. It was a big room, large enough for us to set up two portable cribs for our kids and we could still walk around easily. The room smelled fresh and clean, we did move the couch and had to clean up some candy that was left on the floor. It appeared like the room was recently renovated because everything was in good condition - except there was no plug for the tub. The shower head seemed brand new and the bathroom itself was beautiful with high quality hair/body products that we really liked. The bed wasn’t that comfortable and the pillows were feathery; we just prefer something more firm. Otherwise it was clean. Breakfast was good, there was a variety of hot and cold items and the coffee was hot and fresh. The staff was nice, we didn’t have any issues. There are ample amenities around the property as well. It is a nice place to stay when passing through.

We were in town for a family gathering. Our room was comfortable and clean. Staff was very friendly. The hotel is close to the interstate (but you couldn't hear it!!) and close to shopping and restaurants as well.

We had a wonderful time there with our family. Everything was clean, fresh and comfortable. Only one thing I would say is needed is more trash cans. There were 2 in the Suite where we stayed and they were very small. Everything else was great.

2 queen suite with pullout sofa. Excellent room for family. Huge room and plenty of space for dad/mom/3 daughters. 😁

Netalie, the lady that checked me in was absolutely amazing and the sweetest woman.I had one request for my baby boy and she did not hesitate to make sure he was comfortable. Unfortunately I was put in a beautiful with a complete moldy/musty smell. I couldn’t breathe. Also there’s a nasty orange rusty wet spot on certain and was all over window it was very gross. I went to front desk and ask for a different room, guy was very considered about it. We switched rooms and we loved the new room.

Our room was clean and spacious. Our kiddos enjoyed swimming in the pool and loved the waffles and smoothies for breakfast.

Quality Hampton Inn. We enjoyed the breakfast that included cheese omelet, bacon, waffles, as well as yogurt, cereals, and juices. There was more variety than most hotel breakfasts. Room heater was relatively quiet and was regulated with a wall thermostat. Bathroom had a night light in the outlet - a nice touch. The sink, however, is higher than most. Fine for tall adults, but it would be a challenge for children. It is close to Interstate-80 exit, so if your room faces north, you will have more highway noise than a south room that faces Target. Close by are several restaurants, all within walking distance.

If you are planning to visit Starved Rock and you prefer a quieter, convenient hotel without a lot of kids, weekend partiers, or tourists, this is the place for you. We stayed in the studio suite and it is spacious and clean. There' are a number of chain restaurants and big-box stores within walking distance, and Starved Rock Nat'l park is about a 15 min. drive away. The staff is extremely halpful and friendly.

My family and I planned a little trip over Memorial Day weekend and this is by far the nicest hotel we have stayed at. The front desk personnel are very nice. The location to Resturants was great. The breakfast was great they have a lot to choose from. The breakfast ladies were very friendly and helpful. My only complaint was the pillows they were flat but other than that it was a quite hotel and they were booked solid and you never would have know. I highly recommend this hotel.
