Quality Inn & Suites Metropolis I-24

We were pleased with the spacious room since our group has small children. The room was clean and comfortable. Everyone enjoyed the pool after a long drive. Very convenient to the highway.

Living within a 70 miles of this hotel you will be kicked out and removed from the hotel without even knowing that this rule existed. Taking mine this is a hotel room not a general for other local and national hotel chains. Regardless of the fact if you need a hotel for insurance purposes, out of state family for a funeral, for any other type of sudden need for hotel room. You'll be denied without any explanation and return of funds is going to be a long process because they're acting like they don't want to give it to me. I highly recommend no one ever stay at this hotel. The rat problem at this hotel is beyond belief in addition to dirty carpets walls and the like are miserable at best

I thought it was a nice place for a one night stop on a family road trip. Place was nice. Service was meh, could’ve been a little more pleasant & welcoming but I get it.

Great hotel well worth the low price complete with a waffle breakfast. Located next door a nice little local bar that had families participating in karaoke Friday night.

This hotel subscribes to the adversarial school of customer service. If you like flying Spirit or dealing with Comcast, this is the hotel for you! I checked in, got my bags from the car, then went to the room, which absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke despite being a non-smoking hotel. I called to report this so I wouldn’t be charged a smoking fee and was told that I had to call “within 5 minutes” of receiving the key for any guarantee that I wouldn’t be charged. The front desk worker was strangely hostile. I didn’t ask for a refund or to change rooms; only to not be charged for a cleaning fee I didn’t incur. He kept saying that because I booked through a 3rd party (Hotels.com), I would have to talk to a manager about any issue. I then asked to talk to a manager and was left on hold for 10 minutes before being told that the manager wanted my personal mobile number to call me. This was bizarre and the desk worker’s hostility and agitation made me uncomfortable, so I didn’t give it and emailed the company instead. Surprise, surprise: no response. This hotel has signs all over forbidding all manner of odd things, generally giving the impression that it views customers as naughty children to be scolded and disciplined. Hotels can be affordable without being disreputable. I did not feel safe or comfortable here at all.
