Considering the other reviews I had much higher expectations of this facilty. We had 2- studio suites, the rooms lay out was awkward and not the greatest when it came to functionality. The linens were dirty. The pull out sofa had some large stain on it, we ended up getting a blow up mattress at Walmart instead. The pool was small, however the kids still very much enjoyed it. The employees were all wonderful, the ladies in charge of breakfast were so attentive and kind. Those two gals were the highlight of this hotel. The location is great, however there are many hotels in the vicinity and we will not be returning to this one. For the price I expected more.

The room had a smell to it when we walked in and the couch seems to have some stains on it. Pool was a perfect size for kids but small for a large amount of people. Check in was really easy. Hotel is in a great location. Close to gurnee mall and six flags.

Fantastic stay! Breakfast staff was amazing! She cooked our waffles, turned on the TV for the kids, and was kind and thoughtful. Would definitely stay again.

My family of 5 stayed 5 nights at the Springhill Marriott. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. My only minor complaint was that we did not have enough towels for the 5 of us, but we made do. Breakfast was fantastic with great staff keeping food well stocked all the way up to the 9 or 10 am closing time. I really appreciated that they didn’t start packing away breakfast early or let things run out. The indoor pool was nice and the kids loved getting pool time even when it was cold and snowy outside. The cleaning staff was very kind, and our room was cleaned every other day. We will definitely stay here again as we have family in the area.

The hotel was very conveniently located for what we were in town for and wonderfully accommodating for our extra family that surprised us and shared our oversized room.

First they double charged me and then we ended up with a room with no ac and at first was told there were no rooms or fans by the janitor. I will say Kenya was amazing and tried to make everything right. It just didn’t work out with our family with 2 rooms because it separated our family during our vacation.

The studio accommodated 3 adults and 3 children very well. Quick weekend trip to Six Flags. We'd definitely stay there again.

Hi, the staff were very polite and friendly, the service was great and a special thank you to the lady setting up and maintaining breakfast, I want her boss to know she did a great job and was there making sure it was maintained and so helpful and friendly to the patrons, I know that’s not always the easiest thing to do dealing with the general public. The provided friendly security guard and required keycard access to the lobby in the evening made me feel concerned in these troubling times but was very glad and pleasantly surprised to see that in place, thank you for that.
The only complaint I have is and I understand it’s not the fault of the staff and any criticism is for the opportunity for improvement not to be a complainer in this twitter like society we live in, but the metal door jams and adjoining rooms are so noisy and made it very difficult to relax and sleep. The kids running up and down the hallway and up and down the stairwell was very loud and disturbing. Also, even though the room was non smoking (my preference) there were cigarette butt burn marks on the wooden tv stand and the room smelled rather bad as it was obviously masked with an attempt to cover up the smoking paraphernalia odor that permeated the room.
Publicly on google and verbally I didn’t mention those negative points as I understand you are running and managing a business but it is something valid to be addressed.
I do plan on staying there again and I do recommend.

The staff very friendly, the room very clean and area quiet we had everything we need cafe microwave, refrigerator and the plus they have a shuttle to my son graduation that really make mi so happy if I need to come back I definitely staying here again and will recommend to friend s and family, Thank you for everything.
*Sorry to the house keepers they keep knocking on the door to see if we need anything but we were so tired they let as sleep 😴😊

I think the location lends itself to a rowdier group of hotel guests. There was a Large amount of kiddos there for a hockey tournament and they were up and running halls until about 10:30. we could hear either the guests outside us by the smoking area or just below us until about 11 pm or so. The lobby area was very loud and crowded with this particular group making it hard to use the elevator and just walk thru at times.
We had stayed at a SpringHill Suites the night before in Holland MI and had a very nice experience. The Beds at the Waukegan location were noticeably harder. Between the noise and the beds our sleep was not great.
