Sonesta Simply Suites Chicago Waukegan

I absolutely loved this hotel! We went to my grandson's bootcamp graduation and it was very close to the training facility. That was very convenient.Besides being convenient, the staff was extremely polite and helpful, even cheerful. The room eas super clean and equipped with a kitchenette and a living room with a huge tv. It had a nice size bathroom and the bedroom had a tv too. There were dishes and a dishwasher, a full size fridge with ice maker, a stove and microwave and coffee maker.. and alarm clock with soothing sounds to sleep. They even did wake up calls. Iron and ironing board and blowdryer. This hotel has great parking too. I just loved it and the price was right. To all the navy families looking for a nice hotel to stay at for their loved one's graduation ceremony...I highly recommend this Sonesta Htel.

They worked with me after having a family emergency and leaving early I like their customer service

We got there 10 minutes after check in time, ready to unwind after traveling with a toddler and we're all ready for a nap. Customer service gets a ONE star because we felt like an inconvenience from the start. We walked in on two gals on their phones and they made sure to let us know how shoet staffed they were while checking us in. There were dirty sheets outside our room door piled on the ground from the last guest THROUGH THE EVENING, we were not the only rooms with these mounds of dirty laundry. There was no trash can in the bathroom and very little toilet paper. The pull out bed had no sheets and there were none available anywhere in the room. We checked the front desk multiple times so we could ask for some, noone to be found. We ended up using the flat sheet off the bed to lay on and just covered ourselves in personal blankets. One of us had a headache by the end of the night and all they had at their front end display was midol. Oh, but by morning it was fully stocked with Ibuprofen, but by then we were heading out. We were so disappointed with our stay, definitely would not come back.

We were there for navy PIR , it was a great location and the room was set up perfectly to handle the whole family hanging out for the day
