We stayed in room 621, a very large room. Very little furniture, the only chair in the room, no ottoman, just a filthy orange chair. Didn’t want to sit in it it was so filthy. The t.v., a 32 incher, would have been fine in a normal room but in our overly large room, we were a good 15 feet away from the t.v. Since the only seating in the room other than the dirty orange chair was the bed,we couldn’t see it and had to turn it up to very loud decibel just in order to hear it. Felt sorry for the people in the room next to ours. The bed itself was very comfortable. The shower in our room didn’t drain as it should so by the end of your shower you were standing in a puddle. This is the second time we’ve stayed at a Hilton Gardens and we’ve been shocked each time that the name Hilton is on the front of the hotel. We have family in Chicago and visit frequently from out of state. Pretty sure we won’t be staying at a Hilton hotel in the future.
Best regards,
Wendy Braga

I booked and paid in full via Expedia for three nights in a double Queen a month before we traveled. While driving 6 hours, we received a call from the hotel telling us they were full. They offered to move us to a property thirty minutes away or give us a room with one king. We opted for the king bed because we could not change locations. We were traveling with small children so the bed situation was not ideal. We were told we would be given a discounted rate and that they would get us into a queen room asap. They told us when cleaning services were finished after checkout after the first night, we would be moved. We checked back when asked and were told they still didn’t have a room, but now they said they would comp at least one night. Because I paid in full through Expedia, we were told they had to contact Expedia to work it out. We were moved to a double Queen the next day for our last night. It has been several weeks now, and we did not receive any discounted rate, much less a comped night, due to the hotel’s lack of rooms (which again I had paid in full prior to travel).

Booked a relaxing family weekend away to enjoy the pool and hot tub. Unfortunately when we arrived there was no hot tub and the pool was cold. There was no room service available as stated. The breakfast buffet had very little and was cold. The French toast however was made to order and was good. We needed more towels which tool almost an hour to get. When checking under the beds to be sure items weren't forgotten we found trash from others that had stayed there before us. The beds were ok but not that comfortable. The bar I'm the lobby was closed, you would have thought this would've been open especially on New Years Eve.

It was nice having a lot of gathering space to sit in the lobby and visit with family together.

We booked two rooms for two days through Hotels.com because my wife, my son, my mother, my father-in-law, and I were traveling to Chicago to watch my wife graduate from Chamberlain University. The same day that we booked the hotel on the website we called the hotel and told them we needed two connecting rooms. They said they couldn't do that at the moment and told us to call back closer to the visit. We did, and they said they would make sure we had connecting rooms. We arrived this weekend to find -- you guessed it! -- that we indeed did not have connecting rooms, and they couldn't fix the problem. In fact, they hadn't even put us on the same floor, and, again, they couldn't fix the problem. The lady at the front desk was not apologetic or helpful, telling us there was nothing she could do. The guy at the front desk was as useless as a screen door on a submarine; he just stood there, saying and doing nothing. The room itself was equally bad because of the bed (i.e., extremely uncomfortable) and pillows (i.e., two half-size pillows and one full-size pillow per bed, all of which were flatter than pancakes). Needless to say, there would be no much-needed night of rest after a 10-hour drive. My family and I love staying at Hilton hotels, but this is without a doubt the worst one we have ever visited. 0 out of 10, would not recommend!

I am currently in room 324... with my kids. For the THIRD time tonight (just like at 11 pm and 1:39 am,) it is 3:34 am and the couple next door to usnis crazy loud and downright indecent with their... ummm... "noises of passion?" grunting and wall-banging. my 12 year old is mortified and i had to have her sleep on the chair in the opposite corner and turn her computer up loud.
