Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Chicago-Midway Airport, an IHG Hotel

We love staying here in a junior suite whenever we travel with our adult children. Plenty of room for them to blow up an air mattress with a door between us gives privacy and we all sleep better!

The stay was very pleasant, & comfortable to the guy & the girl at the front desk who helped check me in was incredibly nice & patient & very friendly and understanding. Didn’t catch their names though, would recommend to family & friends & I myself would come back.

Well I arrived in the late evening driving from a family function. Just wanted something close to the airport for my mom and I. My 86 year old mother’s flight was leaving from MDW the next morning and my flight was at 10a. I selected a room that had handicap access in the bathroom. It was the perfect room by looks however water was not working in the shower or tub. I called down to the lobby the night auditor said she would contact maintenance. I ask how long would that be she said she didn’t know. It was already after 10p. So I went down to the lobby and she came up to the room to see if she could get the water to come on. Nothing! Then she says well I can call someone I know. I ask if that person work for the hotel, she says no. I said no thank you. Then she said I’ll give you a suite for the same price, would two double beds be ok? I said yes. Only to get to the room it was a King bed tub was filthy. All the time my 86 year old mother is on her walker now after midnight walking from room to room. Not to mention we had just drove from St Charles ILL from a family function. She take us to another king suite only to hear her say that’s all she had. The room was freezing. I cut the air down it was still freezing. The I went to set my water down on the counter where the coffee station was and ants was crawling around. To say the least it was a miserable experience.

First time staying there and my family and I enjoyed our stay and the location was great. The hotel and staff were great!

Convenient and close to the airport. Was comfortable for our family.
