Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa

We had a great stay. The staff was still recovering from the wildfire but was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The grounds are beautiful. The penguins and birds in the lobby are super fun and my kid loved it. The only thing pool grotto was under construction, which was a little disappointing as we were looking forward to that but everything else was amazing.

Amazing views, lots of pools and slides for the kids. Birds and penguins are a big hit with the kids. Beach access near by but it is rocky and shallow. Good for kids to play in by the small waves. Not great for boogie boarding but there are some areas to down the way. Some nice shops at near by whalers village.

Too pricey for what you got. Too crowded and too many unsupervised kids. It was kind of a bust. The rooms were nice and the bar was outstanding. Just disappointed for the money we spent.

The hotel was great! Grandchildren loved the pool and access to the beach.

The Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa offered the perfect spot for a first-time family trip to Maui.

The Hyatt was everything we wanted and more. The grounds are absolutely stunning. I loved all the animals on the property it added to the tropical vibes of the island. The penguins were my favorite. They have water stations in every corner to make sure you’re hydrated. Towel stations as well, and beach chairs/umbrellas you can check out. Everything was right at your finger tips! You don’t really need to leave the resort for anything if you don’t want to. Whalers village for shopping and other restaurants is a 15min walk along the beach if you wanted. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Greeted with a gorgeous lei, something I was hoping for the full Hawaiian experience. We came here for our baby moon and we can’t wait to come back with the kids! Resort is very family friendly! We will definitely be back! Thank you for a wonderful first Hawaiian visit!

First trip to Hawaii with the grandkids, we’ve been to the Hyatt in Kaanapali many times and it never disappoints. Beautiful facilities ( and great Luau)

Honestly, after that amazing lady at the Hyatt in Anaheim during our disneyland trip, the one who saved our trip after we were messed over by another hotel, i had to pick Hyatt. Once again, you all knocked it out the park again. We finally got a chance to go to Hawaii for a couple days and we weren't disappointed one bit. Once we got there and all the super excitement from the drive from airport. We get to the hotel and Honestly, i mean this, everything was perfect, it felt like i was coming home and my family was more then welcoming. Thank you for making it amazing and 8m trying to come back with my kiddos, i thonk they love it and we will be back someday. I cant pick my favorite part and thats saying something.

The resort is absolutely breath taking. The breakfast buffet has room for improvements; small selection and not very tasty. However, would definitely return because the resort grounds are beautiful. Very quiet and family friendly.
