absolutely stunning hotel room. i have a large family and these room was perfect for us. 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. 2 balcony entrances. a kitchen and a washer machine. just perfect. we had such a great time and was able to walk all over waikiki without a problem but the resort itself also had amazing food places and just beautiful to explore as well. we loved the ice cream place at the resort we stopped a few times during our stay. we can’t imagine staying anywhere else in waikiki after this visit.

our family vacation in Honolulu was great the hotel service was awesome; however the sofa-sleeper was not comfortable at all. I had to ask for a comforter to put on top and even with that it was not enough cushioned then the fourth night i had to ask for extra layer which the hotel gave us a topper to add on as i can feel the spring on my back. I could not find any double bed suits available and that was why i booked King suits with a sofas bed.

Everything about our stay was fantastic. The one issue was the cost of valet parking as we stayed 12 days, which equaled almost $1k in parking alone. Found out during our stay that there's a public parking garage across the street where you can purchase a monthly pass for about $200 and don't have to wait for anyone to bring your car around. Other than that, it was a perfect vacation location with plenty of room for our family of 5 and lots of options for food and entertainment. The staff are outstanding and all very kind and accomodating. Trip of a lifetime!

Ok for a family vacation but packed to the gills with people. Pools had birds and pigeons in them and not very clean. Hot tubs were packed with kids. Trying to eat was difficult due to the crowds. However the most annoying thing was the expensive beach chair and umbrella rentals per day on top of the 40 dollar per day resort fee per day. The best thing about this hotel village is the music in the evening at the tapas bar. Talented musicians - too bad the food here was from a cafeteria.

My family and I travel to Hawaii often and the experience we had at this hotel during our stay was horrible. Considering the price we pay per night, service and staff were disappointing.

Our family had a great stay at The Grand Islander The room was the perfect size with plenty of room. Access to the beach was a short walk through the complex, we liked that everything was an easy walking distance. If you didn't want to walk, the Village has everything you need. My only complaint or suggestion...why not queen size beds instead of doubles? A couple can not comfortably sleep on a double, and we are not large people.
