Holiday Inn Express Villa Rica, an IHG Hotel

My family stayed here for a night before going into ATL. Place was clean and worked well for us. Breakfast was better than most.

We were incredibly disappointed to arrive after over 6 hours of travel to find that the TV in the room did not work. It was flickering and black and wouldn't show the picture. When trying to call the front desk, we realized that the phones weren't working either. Not sure if the staff wasn't answering the phone when we tried to call several times, or if the phone was simply broken as it seemed to be having issues. Not happy at all to pay what we paid and even the most simple of things would not function, and the staff wasn't available to help. We were tired, it was late, and it was severely disappointing to have that inconvenience and false advertisement. We travel to Georgia frequently to visit family, and have stayed here once before. Unless we receive a refund, we will NOT be returning.

There were several rooms available but even with a prepaid reservation I was not allowed to check in early I arrived at 12 noon and was told in May not to check in till 3:00 PM. I visit my kids from out of town once a month and never had to wait three hours for a room

Horrible customer service. I was told the location couldn’t find my reservation and it took 1 hour to check in. Suite not available. I prepaid this reservation for 2 days and was told my reservation was only for 1 day. No manager on duty to assist. The 1st room was very dirty !!! I will not be bringing my family to this location ever again!!!
