We loved the property and surroundings. A truly beautiful place filled with an array of things to do for couples and families. I would say it’s a great wedding destination or reunion place. The only shortcoming was that they had a big family reunion and were significantly understaffed. I would come back and stay here.

I loved the breathtaking views of Stone Mountain and the surrounding lake, and it was an unforgettable experience. The scenery was absolutely stunning, with picturesque sunsets and serene water reflections. The resort itself was immaculate, offering comfortable accommodations and top-notch amenities. Waking up to such beautiful landscapes made each day special. Whether you're looking to relax by the lake or explore the trails around Stone Mountain, this resort is the perfect destination for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway. It also offers a kitty pool, indoor pool, jacuzzi, and more which provided a perfect way for our family to have fun in the sun. Highly recommend!

This is the worst, most ghetto experience ive ever had staying at a marriott hotel. I've been staying at marriott hotels all my life, my mother retired for marriott. I havent been to Evergreen in a couple years, so I decided to spend mothers day here. Horrible. My mothers day is ruined. SO FOR $200 a night, Front desk staff is super ghetto and unprofessional. Elevator on 3rd floor doesnt work, have to go up and go for ride, to go down... smh ...Ac in the room does not work and its locked so you cant change the temp. Fridge doesnt get cold. Balcony is covered in spider webs, cant even sit back there. Inside pool and hot tub out of order. Outside pool and hot tubs packed with kids splashing & jumping. Came in to shower, no soap in the shower. Called front desk twice placed on hold, they never came back. Decided to eat dinner here, prices are outrageous. $20 for a chicken sandwich. This whole experience has been terrible. I need a refund. NEVER AGAIN . This place had went to hell and its sad. I have so many good memories here

My family and I stayed here for 3 nights in April and we loved it! The property is in the middle of a state park and is absolutely gorgeous! The rooms are modern and inviting and the lake view rooms are nice for watching the sunrise. The staff was amazing at every interaction we had. Definitely staying here again when we come back

I would not recommend this place to my friends or family. I asked everyday for more towels and to have my room clean, it never happened. Instead I was told they ran out of towels because of all the events at the hotel. I was there for three nights and asked every day. The staff at the front desk did seem to know what wa s going on. The Elevator broke on Sunday during checkout. The rooms are old and need updating. The tube filled up with water when showering. Nope not staying there again

Air conditioner was broken, screaming kids running down tha hall ways until 1am, knocking on guest doors. Lobby and carpets were filthy. Attempted 7 times over the course of the stay to get coffee from the Starbucks...extended wait times, appeared the baristas were incompetent. Will never stay there again. There was a time when Evergreen was a very nice resort, unless new ownership/management make major changes, I cannot imagine Evergreen being a place for families again.
