Room was very basic. There was some kind of issue when I checked in where they couldn’t find my reservation with hotels.com so I booked directly through the hotel. (Side note, I now have had 2 separate experiences, in 2 separate cities with 2 different hotels from 2 different chains where “something” has happened and I either rebooked through the hotel or the hotel wanted me to rebook through them. They did not want to honor the third party booking).
The rooms were clean and quiet. Beds were not very comfortable though. Kind of hard. The pool area was nice and breakfast was fantastic. Being completely honest though, this seems to be more on the party hotel side instead of family side of things. Lots of drunk younger people coming and going late at night/early morning. My 17 year old and 10 year old were kind of uncomfortable when we were unloading the car, due to the loudness of some of the other guests. And it may have just been the weekend we were there, I don’t know. Just keep that in mind if you’ve got kids with you. If it had just been me and my husband I doubt I would’ve noticed. Just relaying my kids opinions. I’d return if I was in town alone or with my husband, but probably not as a family and I definitely wouldn’t say it would be my first choice then.

The price-benefit ratio is good, since we (a couple 1 toddler) stayed there for only 1 night. However, pictures are a lot better than reality...
Lightning inside the room is very poor (white light, instead of yellow warm illumination).
We were traveling with another couple, which had 3 kids (1 toddler 8 year old). Their idea was to sleep in the room with 2 "queen" beds, but it turns out the beds are actually Full; not queen as advertised. Not the best experience for them either...

Hotel appeared to have been recently updated. It was clean, bed was very comfortable, morning breakfast was pretty good, and the staff was friendly and professional. The extras cost above that of the lesser quality hotel we were staying in was well worth it. Since we go to Savannah often to see family, we will be staying at the Best Western again in the future.

We stayed with a child. Beds were smaller than queen, but we had no problems with our room. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was crowded but filling.

Room was recently remodeled, scrupulously clean, all-white bedding so you KNOW it’s clean. If you’re visiting as a tourist, be aware that the historic landmark district is not going to have hotels with free parking, so don’t book a Midtown location expecting to be able to walk around the area for sightseeing. But if you’re coming to Savannah on business, to visit family, or if you just want affordable accommodations and don’t mind driving for 15 or 20 minutes to the tourist areas, this is a great find. From the outside, it doesn’t look like much. But the rooms, during my May 2023 visit, are sparkling clean with comfortable beds, and there’s a nice free breakfast.
Room at the back of the property was nice and quiet, but if you want to park right outside the room on a weekend night, be aware that you might not find a space. No big deal. I had already unloaded luggage in the afternoon, so having to park at the front when I returned later in the evening wasn’t an issue.

Good location. Staff was rude and uncaring about their guests. As I waited for my husband to go and check the room. The entire tv had to be teplaced the maintenance man. One of the beds was missing a blanket. Rusy panels inside room by window no cover for the air conditioner. While I was waiting for the tv to be removed another guest came back to the front to report his room was not cleaned and there were beer cans left in the room he was assigned. She didn't apologize just gave him another room. The n ect night while waiting for clean towels at the front desk amd ederly couple traveling with their grand children called two days prior to arrival to request a room on the first floor when they arrived they were given a room on the third floor in the back of the hotelcand wad told it was close to elevator. This hotel does not any hotel reservation request. Which is a sad way to do business.

The outside is nice, however the inside was pretty bad. The carpets need to be deep clean. My kids feet were black from walking on it barefooted. The air conditioner unit needs to be ran often because it smells awful when you first turn it on (the filters were clean, we checked them). The rooms just need to be deep clean at least once a month and you can tell they have been deep cleaned since their first open.

Great place to stay with the family. Staff a was wonderful, only problem we had was the drain plug in the tub. Wouldn’t stay open on its own. Will be staying there again if I ever go back to Savannah!
