Our room was very clean and comfortable. The beds were firm and the temperature wasn’t too cold or hot. I appreciated the mobility room with the numerous safety bars and optional shower chair in the bathroom. It was noisier than we would have liked as our room was on the first floor with a very busy road right outside the window and there was a very loud family of other guests in several rooms surrounding us who chose to make their morning plans in the hallway outside our room at 6am.

This hotel the YV was no signal the wifi wS terrible and very noisy kids crying in the hallway and people loud

I read the reviews of this property and thought it looked like a nice place for my family to stay. It was not the cheapest, nor the most expensive either. So I also thought paying a decent price would mean a decent hotel. I was wrong. The room was dirty. There were holes in the bathroom walls. There was a huge crack in the shower. The free Wi-Fi did not really work. It was absolutely not worth what we paid and I’m extremely disappointed. We work hard for our money and it’s sad that our experience was far less than what we had expected.

I specifically booked at this hotel because we wanted a swimming pool for my granddaughter. Not until we arrived, even though I booked 4 months in advance (plenty of time to notify me), were we told that the pool was not operational. To start out our vacation with a crying child was upsetting. Then we got up to our room and couldn’t get the TV to work right. We had to stand in line back down at the desk to figure out the special sequence using two different TV remotes. There should have been an announcement from management to those making reservations about the swimming pool not being available, and there should be printed instructions in each room that has a TV with special requirements every time you try to turn it on. The front desk people were always helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was good. The room was also clean. Overall, acceptable, but management needs to do a better job with communicating with their guests.

The room was very nice in general. But I was positioned between a room with a yapping dog and a room with multiple yelling children. There was a faint lingering smell of dogs in my room—this is just as bad as having a room with a lingering tobacco smell. Big problem had I not been too exhausted to complain and change rooms. My booking had somehow been cancelled. I had inquired about cancelling the previous day, but was told that was not possible. The desk clerk offered no assistance, despite the fact that i had struggled on the phone in the lobby with a booking agency for over 30 minutes. There were MANY empty rooms, but the clerk just stared at me and told me the room would be full price. There were multiple other hotels within walking distance where I could have rebooked, but the clerk just shrugged her shoulders. I finally decided to try to rebook with another agency and was given the discounted price within 5 minutes. I have stayed at this hotel every time I have visited the area for years with no problems.

I must have checked in right near a shift change. I understand the chaos because they definitely seemed short staffed. You can see it in the staffs faces and it’s not totally their fault. I checked in right on time and was put in an unsatisfactory room especially for that price. Maintenance guy was doing his job but literally mopping at our feet as we waited to check in. Carpets were disgusting. Red stains all over. Crumbs. Nothing in the room worked. TV, phone, toilet. I went down to let them know about the room and waited about 20 min in line. Told them about the room. I think it was the manager, came to look at the room and said “you should not have been put in this room, it’s out of service”. She did her best. She then took our room keys and told us to hang on…… It was 4pm. I have 3 young kids and had been driving in my way to Disney since 3am….so after waiting 15 min we went back down to the front desk and waited another 5-7 min and no one came from behind the desk. At that point we just left and I called the corporate number. I don’t anyone to get in trouble, but I do expect my money back as the hotel was clearly not prepared.
