The DSH was the perfect place to stay to get to know Dahlonega and surrounding area. This is a family owned and operated property and it shows. The staff are warm and personable and the facility has a Southern Charm all its own. Our room was wonderfully furnished and very comfortable. From the DSH you are 2 minutes of leisurely strolling in the small town jewel of Georgia, Dahlonega! Make sure you ask about the history of the property!

Perfect location in vicinity to downtown. We were able to walk everywhere. There was ample parking. The place was beautiful. The room was large. We traveled there with our two adult children and there it did not feel cramped at all, plenty of room for all of us. the owners were very nice. The hotel itself was quaint and clean and there isn't one thing negative to say. We couldn't have asked for better accommodations. I would highly recommend.

Charming family owned boutique hotel with wonderful staff, comfortable and spacious rooms and a wine tasting room. Its located within the square where you can walk around this beautiful welcoming southern town straight out of a Hallmark movie.

It would have been a plus to have bar room and living room opened past 7PM. It was impossible to visit with family after dinner. All public rooms were locked.
