Hyatt Place Columbus-North

For starters I am happy to say that we used the Klarna app and paid for the room in advance through hotels.com think of it like a lay-a-way. So when I checked in the room was paid for but I had already called and confirmed that.This hotel is pet friendly and certain floors only certain designated floors for people who bring their furbabies as I brought mine. The was very clean there was no strange smells and no carpet stains. It does have the small refrigerator but NO MICROWAVE! The microwave is a "community" microwave designated ON CERTAIN FLOORS. It means anytime you want to heat up something to eat you have to take your food and find the microwave also where you find the microwave you will find the ice machine meaning its not on every floor. The hotel does not leave out hot water for tea or leave out 1 canister of regular or decaf coffee. They have a hot breakfast eggs, sausage, French toast, pancakes, cold cereal, grits. Steel cut oatmel, bagels and bread slices. Fruit slices and yogurt, whole fruit, and toppings of cheese, bacon bits and granola, almonds, brown sugar, raisins, juices, and potatoes. So they do have a small bar in the hotel its not a bar to sit at, you go there order and take your drink with you if you want you can order chicken wings and something else that is quick and easy thats about it for that. The front desk sells candy pastries, soda, water. The area to walk the dog has no doggie bag so keep a few walmart bags to poop scoop

My neighbors during the stay were a bit rowdy the entire time. I could hear all the conversations, the dog barked a lot, the baby cried often (I wanted to get it lol) and some man was playing ball in the hallway with his dog at 10pm like seriously. The room and the space was great! Everything in the room was exactly what I needed. They had a sitting space, desk space, little kitchen area, ironing board and iron and blow dryer. Perfect!

Great breaksfast, didn’t like the fact the the faucet and shower knob was all loose, and charging $25 for a baby crib! Other than that it was ok.

At check in the toilet was stopped up, no other room available so they sent someone to plunge the toilet. Then the stopper in the sink did not work, the lever was broken so the water would not drain out so we had to pry it up enough to wedge a coffee stirrer in it so the water could drain. Then a small roach was in the bathroom. We were very disappointed in this stay. We had family in hospital and it was just something else we didn’t need to deal with. I have picture of sink and a video of the roach. Just very disappointed!

We paid for a room and planned to stop here on our way down to Florida for our family vacation. I knew we would be getting in late as we were leaving a wedding in NC. I called in advance to let them know that it would likely be close to 1AM before we arrived and wanted to make sure they knew that I was still coming and to not give my room away to anyone. They confirmed my room and assured me that I had already paid for the room and that my room will be ready when I arrive and that they wouldn't give a room that's been paid for away to someone else. Well 4 hours later when we arrived, that's exactly what happened... they gave our room away to some sports girls in town. Really upset and didn't have two beds for myself, my wife and our two children.

No privacy in bath room it's too open with no door while getting dress. Air too noisy can't sleep. Thermostat on wall but no central air. Very uncomfortable. Ice only on first floor. Pool occupied by one family the entire evening. Lots more

Took a quick weekend trip to Columbus to see family. Hotel was clean. Kids loved the pool. Staff was very friendly. Rooms are spacious and beds were comfortable

Staff was super nice, hotel was clean, and family friendly. We will definitely stay here again.

Our stay was very pleasant. Beds are very comfortable and the size of the room was great for our family of 5. Only complaint I have was the bathroom. For families sharing a room it would be nice for the bathroom to be bigger so that when getting out of the shower there is room to get dressed without having to be in the main part of the room. Other then that the service by all members of they Hyatt team was amazing. If we are ever back in the area we will stay there again. Thank YOU!!!

We visited Hyatt for the first for our sons graduation at Fort Benning. We were very pleased with our room. We were a family of three one being our daughter in law. The one room truly afforded us to stay together, providing two separate sink areas and enough room to move around without being in each others way. With the warm heat of Georgia our rooms AC was extremely cold, which we loved. Area was close proximity to the base, breakfast was nice and staff was very friendly. We are from the northeast area where we don't have Hyatt, but if we ever visit down south we will certainly keep Hyatt in mind for a stay.
