My family stayed in a two room suite for a week and we enjoyed our stay!
Pros:
-All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful
-The pool was warm!
-The hotel is right across the street from the airport (this was a huge plus after a long day of travel and you just want to lay down!)
- Housekeeping was wonderful
- Breakfast was good (typical offerings) and the staff worked hard to make sure the food was stocked.
- Parking garage was convenient and we never had a problem finding a space
Cons:
- The mattresses were worn (deep in the middle)
- The showers didn’t drain well (we just lived with it, and didn’t mention it to the hotel)
Overall we would stay here again. Having two bedrooms is a must with teenagers so everyone can have their own space, and bed! This hotel provided what we needed!

The staff (front desk, breakfast staff, maid staff) were all very nice and accommodating. The rooms were spacious and suited our family just fine, but the mattress and pillows could have been better. Breakfast was pretty standard and staff was very attentive. Location was great, by many stores, restaurants and although minutes from the airport, you did not hear any plans flying by.
The front desk staff stated and sign placed in the room indicated that maid service was every other day, but it was actually after every second day. This wasn't a problem, but was expecting the service to be as as stated. Did lack some toiletry supplies, where we had to ask for on separate occasions, due to staff not providing during housekeeping. Had some problems with the shower head and tub drain was clogged. Both issues were resolved quickly by staff. Shower faucet was leaky.
Overall, our stay was satisfactory.

This truly was one of the better stays I’ve had at a hotel. I just got back home from doing storm work in Georgia and wanted to take some time with my family to relax and hangout. The pool is okay but it was a little dirty. Other than that it was amazing!!! Thank you for having my family as guests.

The suites were an excellent option for our family by providing a separate living room and kitchen.
Washing and dryer for $$ is available on site.
Love the World of Beer nearby especially Monday night burgers for $5.95 and happy hour.

We traveled to Tampa and stayed here as a family with kids for 6 nights and we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is old and the rooms need to get updated but it is a clean hotel with several good amenities. Also, the staff is very helpful and respond your requests within minutes.

While my husband was checking us in I asked the clerk for the restroom and was told that the building across the street has a restroom that I could use. Was tired after driving for 3 hours to get there because of the traffic in Orlando area. This is what stood out to me. I brought my family to your hotel because I have always been told that Hilton is in a class all by itself. So we came to Homewood suites by Hilton with very high expectations and then to have This encounter was disappointing

Great property, close to airport and nearby shopping mall and restaurants. Perfect location. Even though it’s close to the airport you would never know it because it is so quiet. Great hotel for travelers with kids.

I checked in late at around 11pm after a long day of flying across the country. The front desk attendant was nowhere to be found after about a 5 minute wait he showed up and checked me in. I had requested a crib which was waiting in the room, but realized we didn't need it. We wanted to use the pull out couch for our child instead but there were no sheets in the pull out couch bag. So I went back to the front desk to return the crib and request sheets. When I got there, again, the front desk attendant was nowhere to be found. The phone rang non-stop the entire 10 minutes I waited there. Finally he came, along with the houseman. I requested the sheets and an extra pillow. They flat out said "No" to the pillow. Since it was so late, I just gave up and went back to the room. I did get the sheets, at least. The room itself was great, spacious. But the curtains in the bedroom were dangling off on one end so it was hard to really block out the light. The morning front desk attendant was very nice.

My father who is 67 years old got stuck in the elevator due to some malfunction with power loss and was stuck in the elevator for 43 minutes before help arrived. Also, the “non smoking” rooms were filled with marijuana smell in the hallways and some local hotel areas. Wouldn’t record if you have young children at all.
