I have stayed in numerous hotels, and this was the worst hotel ever. This place is not clean at all. There were roaches crawling on the floor. I had an iron but no ironing broad, so I had to use one of our towels to place on the counter to be able to iron. And the worst thing that happened was, somehow the bathroom door Locked and I was unable to get into the restroom. I woke up at 3 o’clock in the morning to use the restroom and wasn’t able to get in. I called the front desk 13 times and no answer. I walked down to the lobby area at 3 o’clock in the morning to find out that both the side door and the front door were locked with a sign stating that if you needed assistance to call the number that I had already called 13 times with no answer. Luckily, I had another family member staying at the hotel that and I was able to use their restroom at 4 o’clock in the morning. I do not recommend this hotel at all. You will waste your money and their customer service was horrible. When I mentioned to them the experience I had all they could say to me was I’m sorry I’m sorry.

Had a terrible experience at the Embassy by USF! Me and my family got in late on Friday and was given a room. When we get to the room, the room was warm/hot, so we put the AC on and it made terrible noise. We wait a while to see if the room starts getting cooler and if the noise would go away, but it did not. My kids fell asleep, so I walked down to the reception desk and ask to be moved to another room, which they did. The new room given to us was also very warm, but at this point it is already past 1am and I am not going to wake up my kids again. Absolutely terrible experience and we will no longer go to any Hilton chain hotels.

The checkin process was the worst I have ever experienced. They stated they didn’t have a room ready yet but other people continued to get rooms available. When I received text that my room was finally reading I had to wait in another long line to get room keys, as they only had 2 people checking guests in. There were numerous upper management standing around and not one chipped in to help checkin guest. The process took so long me and my family ended up late to arrive at the concert we were in town to see. When I complained to a staff member about this being the worst customer service experience I had ever had, she completely ignored me and didn’t respond. Will never stay at the hotel again, simply due to poor customer service.

Pool was dirty and closed, fitness center was sub par, only 2 functioning elevators so it took 5-10 minutes to get to the room, the hotel shop stated open 24 hours however it was only open during the day. Late check out was not an option because they already had too many? This was by far the worst hotel stay. We thought we would have a lovely time with the kids however with no access to the amenities it was a complete waste of a hotel stay!

We were on a family vacation and I choose this hotel for location and the POOL! Upon arrival we were informed that the pool was not in use and we could take a 7 min shuttle ride to another hotel. Total BS!
I even went on line to check prior to our arrival and NO INFO was updated about the pool!

Our toilet was clogged and the hotel did not have a plunger for us to use. Front desk stated that the service elevator has been broken for a month and it could possibly in there and we’d have to wait for maintenance to come in at 7a to fix our toilet. We were leaving at 6a so that didn’t help our situation. Front desk opened another room down the hall for my children and I to use the bathroom in another room.
At initial check-in nobody informed us when the restaurant bar closed or when breakfast opens so we ended up missing both.

This is our second time staying (first was in 2022) and both times were amazing. Friendly staff, very clean, fantastic omelet station at breakfast and great location. I’m so glad our second visit was as good as the first after hyping it up to my family. Will definitely stay again the next time we’re in the Tampa area

We had a lot of issues during our stay and had to deal with management. No AC in the first room we had checked in and then the second room was dirty and my family and I had to clean the room.
