We checked in late after 11pm and didn’t realize that our tub didn’t drain until after midnight. They put us in the room next door, so very accommodating but we had to wake the kids up to move. Stayed several times, could use some maintenance updates.

Was looking forward to a relaxing night away from the kids. Hotel room was dirty. One of the shower heads had mold on it. The club lounge was closed for maintenance or something but they were still selling lounge access. Food listed on menu was billed at a higher rate. Lots of hidden fees not listed on ordering room service. I understand there is a fee for room service but not 3 different fees. When I was brought my food with the receipt the entree I ordered was showing as $36.51 instead of the $27 it was listed as on their in room service menu. When I called to question it the lady informed me she wasn’t going to argue with me and I will be charged at check out.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at this location. Quiet and clean. The only minor issues are the fact that the rooms somewhat smell damp and earthy (expected considering the humid environment of Orlando) and there were kids on our floor that were loud in the hallways (not a hotel issue perse)

The check in and check out attendants were not very friendly or personable. As we were going to our room, we noticed cereal all over the carpeting in the hallways and in the elevators. We went out and came back later and it was still there. The room was dirty. There was hair in the bathroom in multiple places and standing water in the tub. The AC did not work very well & the room, it smelled, stale and old. The bedsheets had a musky, moldy odor to them. The refrigerator in the room had a broken shelf for the freezer portion which limited the use of the refrigerator/freezer and the temperature of the items that we were in the refrigerator were not cold when we pulled them out the next morning. It was very noisy throughout the hotel and when we went to go to the swimming pool, the entire pool was occupied by at least 20 children and they took up the entire pool for hours, so we were unable to swim. I will not stay at a Marriott Hotel ever again. I never had this horrible of a stay at any other hotel.

Quiet room! Bed was comfy and high quality linens. Staff was super professional under stress of loud, rude customers running around all. A little league baseball tournament was rained out that day and the kids and parents were unbelievably loud hanging out in the lobby still at.midnight.

My family and I went to Orlando Marriott Lake Mary to get away from the day-to-day and experience a fun weekend. My boyfriend and I are both military and wanted to make the most of our trip with our son while we had the chance. 1. We couldn’t enjoy the pool: There was a birthday party going on in the pool area. There’s no issue with that EXCEPT there were children throughout the entire pool knocking into my toddler, accidentally hitting him with pool toys, etc. Considering that we also paid the same fee and the people throwing the party, we deserved to enjoy the pool equally. There was no control by the staff over this situation and it felt like a waste of money. 2. Breakfast is NOT worth $15: Considering $15 can get you a breakfast and basically any restaurant, don’t waste your money on the breakfast. Minimal selections and, one again, we couldn’t enjoy this either because there were large sports team groups in the entire dining area. There’s no issue with that alone, but the staff did nothing to make sure ALL customers were having a peaceful stay.
Overall, I will not be going back to the hotel. If you’re going to spend $$$ on a hotel, I recommend going somewhere else that actually looks out for ALL visitors/customers. It was a waste of money considering that we couldn’t even enjoy any of the amenities due to large, overly-loud groups, but had to pay the same price as them. It wasn’t relaxing, it wasn’t a peaceful stay, and I would have rather stayed home.

Leaking hallway from room next door. Front desk gal didn't care to end her conversation with her friend to get me checked in as I had crying infant, requested crib 8 times, no crib delivered or message communicated until 10pm. Front desk let their friend bring a dog in the hotel when generally this higher end hotel doesn't allow it.
