A trip for the grandchildren before school started back and they loved the room and it was close to the beach

Honestly, it was kind of a last minute booking for our family. We had looked around at a few places in hopes there would be some rooms available for a spontaneous July 4th trip and we were so glad we came across this hotel. Whether it is for a one night stay or an entire weekend, it is a great place to stay.

The customer service was awful which made my stay horrible… the rooms were nice but small not equipped for a family of three.

Brand new facility. Very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Room had a nice kitchenette and dining table. So close to Pier Park! Great area! Dining, shopping, family entertainment. Huge Military presents. Love that! LOVED hearing the planes flying overhead.

The room was spacious for two adults and 5 kids. The breakfast was a hit with all of us and everything was clean. I would definitely stay again.

We were there for a softball tournament. A con about the stay was, I requested to be on the top floor when I booked the room- stayed for 2 nights. I didn’t get that request unfortunately, so the first night I had to call and make a noise complaint because at 1130pm, the people above our room were jumping on the floor, we could clearly hear the kids jumping from bed to bed, yelling and making a lot of noise. I had to call front desk. Normally I don’t do that, but it was 1130 at night! He just replied “ we are a little packed!”
The other problem I had was- they didn’t start serving breakfast until 8am! That doesn’t help if you have to be at the ballpark that’s DIRECTLY behind the hotel at 7am for warm ups! All they had was oatmeal and cereal to eat at 630. Didn’t even have the juice machine turned on. Very disappointed with that.

Great hotel for family with kids, full kitchen!! Nothing fancy but all necessities were there, clean, easy 2 min drive to big shopping area, basic outdoor sitting areas with some chairs (could be better, definitely area to explore for hotel mgmt). More affordable than other places in town, especially beachfront hotels with lower standards.

Would stay again. Stayed two nights in spacious one bedroom suite near family ball park off highway in PCB. Very hot shower! Decent towels. Great breakfast choices. Milk, juices and coffees. Hot oatmeal, cold cereals, muffins, sausage, scrambled and boiled eggs, yogurts and fruits. Sleeper sofa, two queen beds in bedroom. No hot tub. Small but cute little swimming pool and work out room. Lots of guests staying for ball games. Near the Pier Park with lots of restaurants. Everything closed up at 10:00 pm on weekdays. Only complaint was the pillows. Definitely could use new pillows, other than that, 10 out of 10 for the Townplace Suites by Marriott.

I booked this stay at the right timing. Back home in Tallahassee we were being hammered with severe thunderstorm and heavy rain. We were without power for the night but at our hotel we had cold AC & power. As soon as we walked into our room we were shocked and amazed on how spacious it was. This was a huge plus due to our three kids. The room was clean and the restroom was huge as well. Our stay here was relaxing, calming, and quiet. The only negative thing I have to say is that our room was not cleaned out as it should have on our second day of stay as it is advertised. All they did was pick up the dirty towels and that’s it. However, that did not ruin our stay because with common sense, we asked for clean towels at the front desk and they kindly provided them upon request. When my wife asked why the room wasn’t cleaned the older lady just shrugged it off. Overall, I’ll definitely be coming back and reserving the same room. Out of 5 stars I’ll give it a 4.

My second time staying at this place and it gets better and better. The staff is extremely nice. The young ladies who worked the breakfast area were so accommodating and did so much to make sure we had plenty options from croissants to waffles and eggs. The pool was pretty cool too. I’ve stayed in a double bed room and the suite. Both great options but The suite option is better for families. Both rooms have a Fully stocked kitchen with 2 burner stove. About a 20 minute walk to beach or 5 minute drive. Lots of public access and parking is free at Pier. The Pier has plenty eating and shopping options. Would definitely stay here again!
