The Seagate Hotel & Spa

Positives: 1. The location is great. It is close to the beach and downtown Delray. You can easily walk everywhere. 2. They have a free shuttle that will take you in a 3 mile radius of hotel which was nice. 3. The shuttle/valet staff were super friendly and helpful. 4. Room was a nice size. 5. I liked the beach club location and set up *minus some of the service, but could be easily fixed with staff training* 6. Room service was great. Areas of improvement: 1. The bartender at the beach club looks/acts miserable. We asked for a drinks menu and he made a face at us. My friend is pregnant and wanted a virgin drink and it was made to seem like a hassle. We order lunch there and they only made one of our meals and we had to wait 20 mins for the rest of our order. For the prices and the service fees added to each order you would hope for better customer service. 2. Some of the members of the Beach Club Grill staff were making crude remarks that we could hear from our table. One staff member was calling his coworker a prom dumpster baby, saying his mom should have swallowed him, etc. while I understand it was in jest it's just not appropriate conversation for guests dining in earshot. (This could easily be fixed with some customer service training). Perry was great though! 3. Me friend and I booked massages at the spa. I had a great experience but she did not. Her massage therapist talked nonstop and she said it wasn't relaxing. She was too nice to ask her to stop.

They were working on the beach club pool when we came so that was disappointing that we did not get to swim in the saltwater pool or have too much fun at the beach club. The morning yoga was amazing staff friendliness, and helpfulness was a plus. The spa treatments were top-of-the-line, friendliness, relaxation the steam room shower Joanne is amazing at the deep tissue, relaxation massage, and my kids had a wonderful time.

Super nice stuff from front desk, drivers, people on the parking, cleaning crew, service staff at the beach club. The hotel is in a perfect location. And they provide shuttle within 3 miles, a short ride to the beach club and/or to restaurants. Room is spacious and has everything what you need. Definitely recommend this hotel for family trip, couple getaway or whatever:)

Will be our “go to” when visiting family in Delray Beach

Loved the feel of the hotel but we paid for a 2 queen room and got a room with a king bed for 2 parents and 2 kids. The out of date room phone beeped all night and had to be put in hall, they never brought a roll away so kids slept in our bed. Room jacuzzi was broken as was the room fridge. Never apologized. Place needs a full gut.

We loved our time there. The staff was beyond friendly. It was my 45th birthday and the staff surprised me with truffles and chocolate covered strawberries. It was beyond kind and unexpected. They were also kind enough to upgrade us to their best room as our family are Hotels.com platinum members.

I celebrated my birthday with my family and this one of the best properties in the U.S, everything was wonderful. We highly recommend this resort and the Spa was top notch.

Easy friendly property, we booked it to go to a family event, everything went with the exception of housekeeping knocking on our door to check out with a DND on and later check out, and the valet last guy who misplaced our car key and we got a scare time, thankfully they found it and we left relieved. Restaurant staff and manager were great, the fd agent who checked us in was great too.

Loved the quick shuttle to beach club but also having the pool on site for options was huge with kids. Wished the balcony had more comfortable seating but was a beautiful hotel!

From the moment we pulled up to this gorgeous Floridian grand hotel we felt welcomed. Like everyone knew who we were. The hotel smells amazing and it's cleanliness is impecable. Both restaurants are beautiful but I would say they need to expand there menus a tad more. Our room was gorgeous and quiet. The spa was one of the best massages we've had in a very long time. However, where the couples suit is, is very close to the pool. While your dozing off from your massage you can hear the kids below. The store they have there are first class. The shuttle service to and from the beach, again, first class. Clean and super pleasant drivers. The best thou had to be the beach club itself. They put you wherever you want to sit. Umbrella or not, waiter service. Peace and quiet simply gorgeous. 10Stars!
