The hotel was a convenient spot for our trip because it was close to the family we were visiting and right off the interstate. The staff was friendly and the place is nice. The only complaint I had was the smell. It smelled like mildewed carpet. The halls, the stair wells but mostly in our room. I had to keep the ac super cold, which was unpleasant, but it helped with the smell. Maybe when you change the carpet out consider laminate flooring. All the way around that’s a better option for cleanliness and trapped odors.

Wonderful stop on the way to Miami. Was pleasantly surprised by the spacious double queen room, had a pull out futon under the couch which made it so kids didn’t have to share a bed. The indoor pool was also heated which made it much more enjoyable.

Everything was great —EXCEPT for a 10:24 pm phone call from the front desk saying that “someone” had complained about us slamming doors. Not only were we NOT slamming doors, all 5 of us (including 2 small kids) were sound asleep and were awakened by this phone call! And, I NEVER even heard any slamming doors; it was perfectly quiet! I certainly hope that next time “someone” complains of a noise issue, the front desk clerk will have someone go to check it out before awakening everyone in a guest room with a late night phone call!

Overall the property was nice. I only had concerns about the cleanliness as their were finger and handprints on the bathroom glassdoor that were clearly from the previous guest child(ren). The sofa pull-out was dirty.

Beautiful hotel! Not sure when it was built, but it looks brand new! Indoor pool is nice for families with kids, because they can use it during any type of weather
