Equus Inn Ocala

I came down because my father in law is in hospice and needed to give my final goodbye, last minute trip. I was disappointed that shower pressure was low for room on 2nd floor (218) it took all of 15 minutes or more, to just get enough water to clean soap off. I thought to give hotel benefit of doubt considering good reviews, it appears renovated and clean. However, the room floor was dirty with debri but most importantly the the bathroom was not clean, dirty floor, hair, dust, and shower would not work properly. The last day I was truly frustrated after being there to spend time with my family for an unfortunate reason but to be met with a non working shower This also means that the cleaning crew doesn't clean bathroom shower as well. I do not see how they are suppose to clean if the water is not working and NOT report to their management. Losing a love one is hard but to deal with not being able to get clean with a quick shower to comfort you is disappointing.

it was a hometown hotel with a hometown family service. enjoyed the convience of multiple restaurants at walking distance .

I love that this is an old motel that has been completely refurbished. They did a wonderful job and is unique with all the horse murals. It is modern, clean and family friendly with smiling helpful staff. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. I would definitely stay here again.

It was a good stay, the toilet didn't flush properly and being able to hear the children outside in the pool easily in our poolside room were the only inconveniences we had. It was perfect otherwise

Stayed here three times over two weeks due to family member in nearby hospital. We were there mostly for sleep so didn't use much as far as amenities..Beds were comfortable, no problem with TV or wifi what little we used it. Good breakfast with variety. Had problems with one room but quickly moved us to another room that was upgrade. Nice courtyard area if you can stand the Florida humidity. If we needed to go back to area would stay there again.

It was close by to my event, very family oriented and everyone was friendly.

I had booked for three nights based on good reviews. However, when we checked in and walked to the room it was nothing like the reviews. We immediately checked out but they only gave us credit for two nights. The pool had 30 screaming kids, the outside of the building and parking was dirty, dog poo, unsafe etc... We had to pay more, but found a clean hotel nearby.

I had run into a problem and the front desk helper ms Sharon was totally totally awesome!!!! She took her valuable time and for about hour and focused and made a miracle happen. She is really a great person and she alone has definitely been a blessing to me and my family! Thanks Sharon you a true savior!

Just a feel good, clean,comfortable place to stay. Just here overnight,as we are moving into our new home tomorrow. Will definitely recommend to our friends and family that come to visit.
