A fantastic area to stay and overall the grounds around the Drop Anchor were well kept, reception staff very friendly and helpful during our weekend stay. Unfortunately the family unit we had was like stepping back to the Eighties and in desperate need of an update, all the cupboards and kitchen units were very well used along with no handle on the microwave door, the bathroom sink unit was rotted at the base from shower water splashing against it over a long period and the main front door was loose and difficult to close. As it was just a weekend stay we put up with things as really it was all about the outside area but personally would not return to this family room,

We loved the pool with the beautiful view of the ocean. The area around the hotel is awesome with tables, chairs and hammocks just to relax and spend time with family and friends. They also have kayaks available for the guests.

A fisherman's dream..Private ramp to put your boat in the water and you can dock it right in the water along the wall.Super cute play area at the pool for both adults and children.They have giant chess,checkers,connect 4. Room was small,but very very clean. If expecting luxury this is not for you,but if you just want a clean place to lay your head after fishing and boating all day you will love it!
