Walt Disney World Dolphin

I expected a lot based on what I saw online, but the Dolphin exceeded my expectations more than I could ever imagine. This hotel had more fun amenities than the higher cost Disney resorts. I’ve never seen my wife and kids so happy. We can’t wait to book our next stay!!!

Just when you think you are getting a good deal. Don’t forget the $45 daily resort fee and $36 or $44 daily for parking. So be sure to factor in an extra $100 a night. Valet takes forever and even filled up the first night. While self parking is way off to the side and not enough spots. Also if you book a cheaper room they tuck you in the back corner with a view of the garbage. Luckily it was just a quick trip and my kids found the wasp nest outside out window interesting. Needless to say we will not be back. Other actual Disney hotels are much better without all the extra fees.

The transportation options to Disney were superb - water taxi and bus. The multiple pools provided opportunities for whole family - didnt feel crowded at all. We enjoyed in room as well as restaurant dining and to go options. Fireworks views to Epcot were a suprise benefit!!

The Dolphin was very kid friendly and the perfect place to stay for our Disney vacation. We loved taking the friendship boats and the busses were so easy to use also. The main lobby is so welcoming and a nice place to enjoy a coffee and snack from Fuel. The pools were very attractive and a fun place for kids to swim, however, there was no lifeguard, which we found surprising and unfortunately some kids were acting dangerously there after hours (jumping from the bridge) with no parents there to supervise. Also, some patrons left their drink cups lying around after leaving, so I found myself cleaning up a lot after other people around the lounge areas so I could sit in a clean space.

It was a pleasant stay though it is better to go with a group instead of alone. Aside from that it has plentiful dining venues, plenty of recreational activies and as you explore the hotel the sights are beautiful. The staff are friendly and very helpful if you have any questions or get lost easily like me. Would definitely come back with friends and family when going to Disney or visiting Orlando.

Beautiful place and accesibility to different parks, but..... But, a frustrating experience in terms of the basics that you can expect when you arrive at a hotel (especially at this level $$$) I had 2 rooms and the TV did not work in ANY of them. To make matters worse, we paid a late check in in both rooms. When we tried to call the front desk, the phones didn't work either. Midnight, I had to go down from the 14th floor to report the failures. The "engineer" arrived at 11am the next day (check out was at 12) "internet problems" they said... the truth is that my family and I have been to 3 Marriotts so far this year and in All 3 had the same bad experience with TVs. There was no cable, much less streaming. solution!!!! at least for them.... "they reversed the late check out in the 2 rooms and $50 for the next reservation. Will there really be a next one??? I will think about it very carefully before... We are Hilton Members and we have never had that type of experience. It is What a shame, such a nice place :( We spent approximately $800 for 1 night and 2 rooms and the TV and phones didn't work. Hello!!!!! Disney/Marriott experience!!!!!

Very nice hotel, people friendly, good food, beautiful view from the fireworks at Epcot and a big room for my baby walk and explore 😃.
