MOUSE HOUSE! And I don’t mean Mickey Mouse! I woke up around 4 AM to use the bathroom. As I was getting up, there was a mouse running close to my feet. I gathered my belongings and left after dumping my open bag on the bed and putting everything back in one by one to make sure I was not taking any critters with me. The woman at the desk offered me another room. I told her if there was a mouse in my room, then the possibility existed that they could be in any room. I left. Later, when I talked to the manager and asked about a refund, she said she would have housekeeping and maintenance do an investigation and she would get back to me. She called me back and told me that their investigation showed that there was no mouse in the room. I told her that I am 65 years old and handicapped and there’s no way that I would leave out at 4:30 in the morning for no reason. I went there for relaxation so that I could complete some writing that I was working on. I had considered extending my stay. The manager’s response made me feel like she was saying I was supposed to ignore what my eyes saw, and the fact that my heart was racing. Nobody Apologized. Of course they should know that they have mice there. Anyone with a business that has them is probably aware I am so disappointed. My family and I have stayed there many times.

Check in was easy and staff was nice. Very clean lobby and room.
We ended having to call and ask for refresh of towels, and our room was only cleaned one time in a week. There was some safety concerns with homeless people out front of the hotel, as well as back behind, and in the parking lots near the tower that tended to harass some of the people staying at the hotel ( our family included). We also voiced our concern over a while Mercedes that kept parking under the covered entrance area at the tower each day and nothing was done. We also had issues with our door keys, as they kept not working. In the end we left a day/night early due to these concerns. When I spoke with the clerk at the front desk when checking out early, she seems not interested at all and said well, it is what it is and you will be charged for the night anyways.
This was our 10th stay at RL, and we loved it, that’s why we kept coming back, but this time…..we can’t say the same. Will probably be looking for another place for our visit in December. It is unfortunate due to the location and history of us staying here.

Grounds are well kept. Pool is nice and kids love the lazy river. No hassle at check in and bed is comfortable.

Hotel is average. Service at front desk is slow. Hotel key cards didn't work and needed to be replaced. Black mold on ceiling of shower. Room seemed otherwise clean. No frills. Woke around 1:30 am to partying in room upstairs. Front desk button on phone did not work so had to call other extensions. It continued through night then morning brought motorcycle burn outs. Room faced main road and very noisey. Had a family emergency pop up which shortened trip after one night. We checked out before 11 am check out time but was told no refund. Poor customer service, will not stay again, recommend or use Hotels.com

Not many good things to say about this hotel. The big draw to this hotel is the pool & lazy river which our both good. The hotel internet is horrible, so make sure your phone has a hotspot u will need it. Elevators didn’t work well during my stay, & I was on 3rd floor. Breakfast was not good, my family & I went one time & it was enough. Went to ihop, which is walking distance to hotel. Also in our room we had a lot of maintenance issues, like no lamps in lights, tv issues, & aircon had settings on it so when it got real hot I couldn’t lower the thermostat. Luckily we had a ceiling fan that helped to get through those real hot days.

The staff were outstanding. The pool and lazy river were great for the kiddos. The life guards did a great job. The breakfast was very delicious. The pizza is amazing from The Oasis.

The stay was great...I was just concerned about the lack of actual work the lifeguards were doing at the lazy river. There had to be like 6 working...they all bunched up in one area leaving 80% of the area not being monitored. They were on their phones, listening to music, eating and hanging out in about a ten foot area of the lazy river leaving the rest not monitored. Then i noticed about three didn't even have their lifeguard red floats with them but instead left them scattered around tge pool, in the bushes and under chsirs not occupied by a lifeguard. Luckily I was an adult who did monitor my own children otherwise I would have really made a bigger issue of this in the moment.
