We had to stay because we had no power after hurricane Helene. The staff were all so nice! Tiffany at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. It felt like we were staying with family.

Our stay was pretty great! The breakfast was wonderful with lots of options. They had outdoor games and a pool and hot tub along with a fitness room. When we checked in they gave us fresh baked cookies. They also had coffee and water on site for throughout the day. The staff was so very helpful and friendly! They also offered a shuttle for the area. The room had plenty of space for our big family. Overall it was a nice place to stay and we would definitely go back! As a plus the beach was only a block away!

Very close to the main beach access. The hotel is currently under renovations so that was a bit tricky to navigate but we managed alright. The pool area could use attention to weeds growing all over which makes it look neglected. The pool was slightly cloudy and sandy. The handicap chair was rusted … which looked unsightly. Also we thought there would be an ice cream bar as shown in the photos but it never appeared. They said they would have cookies but only had them one day which was disappointing for the kids. Most of staff very friendly except one lady at front desk seemed to be very overwhelmed and didn’t have much customer service skills. The One day they had the cookies they were behind the desk. We waited for 15 minutes for her to be done checking someone in and then still she did not give out the cookies.

We have two rooms for family graduation here. Perfect location for the venue and close to everything we could need for our stay. Rooms are very good size.

We had a wonderful stay at Residence Inn by Marriott Amelia Island. We had family from out of town and family who live at Amelia Island and enjoyed our home away from home experience.

This hotel was amazing! I went alone for spring break to get some mommy time while my kids were visiting family for their break and hubby worked. This is the 1st time I can say that all of the reviews I read were absolutely correct.Everything about this hotel was great, from the staff greeting you as you first step through the doors to the room and shuttle bus! The room was clean, quiet and perfect for my little me time get away! If I had to pick one thing, I’d say the dishes in the room could’ve been cleaned better but honestly the rest of the hospitality and stay was so great, it outweighed a few semi clean dishes. The whole island was so friendly it felt as if I was in a movie. I greatly enjoyed myself and have already recommended this place to others. I hope to return here in the future with my family!

Very nice hotel. King room was spacious, sleeper sofa worked well for kids. Kids loved pool and nice space for parents to lounge and watch kids play. All staff I interacted with were very pleasant and professional.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our two day stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott. Everyone was very friendly, helpful and treated our pet like she was one of the family, which she totally is! The layout of the studio room was perfect for the two (and a half) of us. We enjoyed it so much we ate in our suite instead of eating out for lunch and dinner. They had a very good hot breakfast buffet and went out of their way to prepare us a bowl of grits when I asked if they had them. Publix was just down the street and had a Japanese Sushi chef preparing fresh sushi, so we stocked up on it along with getting some fresh steamed shrimp and enjoyed an easy, hassle-free dinner in our room, which btw, had dishes, flatware, a toaster, coffee maker, two eye stove top, microwave oven, good size refrigerator and even pots and pans, plus all the other kitchen tools you would need to prepare a full meal. There was even a can opener which we needed for our dog's food .. I was very happy to see that! Ft. Cinch is not far from the Residence along with public beach access, but if you like art galleries, cafes and shopping, it's all close by in downtown Fernendina. We loved our short stay so much we can't wait to go back and see all the friendly people at the Residence Inn by Marriott that made us feel "at home" along with our dog as well.

Second stay here this time instead of with my nana and boyfriend it was a couples getaway. This needs to be advertised as a 65+ exchange hotel. I had done a pre check in to make the process quicker only to have them need a conversation in the back. No communication as to reason why, before assisting an elderly couple that had walked up needing a shuttle to a restaurant, prior to administering our keys. It was almost as though they weren’t used to anyone under 45 checking in, like we shouldn’t be there?? We gave the families with kids their time and space at the pool and intended on enjoying a traditional couples relax by their pool and hot tub later on in the evening. Only to find that the hot tub had been occupied by a single male for over an hour. Keep in mind when we walked over the 2nd time another couple looked like they were waiting awkwardly in the shallow end of the pool. While we dipped our ft in the deep in contemplating the same situation the other couple was obvs having the group of elderly wine drinkers by the fire walked in behind the front desk staff at 830p and all got in the hot tub. As we walked out we passed another couple the same age with the man literally backing up to the scene as a gave the woman a disappointed passing glance.
