Courtyard St. Petersburg Clearwater

Upon arrival, I was nervous about traveling with two children alone for the first time and staying in an unfamiliar location. The time we walked in, all my worries were gone. The staff was beyond friendly. Angel (I believe that was her name) was so pleasant, and every time we saw her (housekeeper), she asked if we needed any fresh towels or anything else. The recreation room was a big hit, and the pool was gorgeous. There are grills available, although we didn't utilize them; someone else was, and the food smelt amazing. We will return!

My husband and I had an enjoyable stay. We will DEFINITELY recommend this hotel to family and friends.

I appreciate Angie and Mike and all those who were kind to us there. Especially Mike who saw us struggling to get in side door and opened it for us. I had to be greatful for being check-in to rest after a long beach day. Being next to slamming hallway door was not pleasant. However prompt service for toilet and microwave (they brought one in for us) balanced the comfort issue. Fortunately my son is a socialite and found the rec center and other families to play games with. We had a blast at the warm pool with other pleasant families. Despite the end of our trip with directions to Indian Beach (the supposed closest beach) i was enamored with the cleanliness of the place and kindness of the staff. I will pay more for good service and cleanness. Be aware that the fridges are super small and no microwave in room. However, we were pleasantly surprised by having great food and activities all around us for quick eats and fun close by (as seen in the beautiful hard-covered book in the room). Enjoy your stay!

Overall we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel was clean, the breakfast hearty, and the courtyard pool nice enough to amuse a child for a dip. The beds were a bit too soft for my taste, but we'd happily recommend this hotel to others looking for a basic (but not too rustic or run down) clean hotel in the Clearwater area.
