Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Downtown

I was greeted accordingly and professionally. Was surprised with the $50 hotel fee + $30 daily parking fee once I checked in which I wasn’t aware of before hand nor did it state it anywhere on the site . Toilet stopped working after the 1st use , notified the front desk and someone came up to take a look soon after , after the 2nd use it was down again . ( not a clogged issue ) being that the children only had to urinate after a long trip so I know that wasn’t the issue . Eventually the children had to use the guest bathroom on the floor level each time they had to go … that was definitely an inconvenience 😒 . Was told someone will come by and take a look the next day but we were already getting ready to check out .

Family stay for our Christmas reunion with family living in FtLauderdale. The hotel was very confortable and clean. Excellent breakfast. Very Nice Staff. Walking distance from Las Olas Boulevard.

Great location. Check in was quick and efficient. The staff was friendly. The room was spacious. The walls were very thin. I was awakened by a crying baby in the room next door. The continental breakfast was average as expected. I really did not like having to pay $30 per night parking fee if i already paid for a room.
